Dark Souls 3

I assume you eventually made it past the second boss?
Yeah I did. He was actually a little of a challenge, especially his second phase of attacks. Busy progressing through the Undead Village (if I recall is the name).

Just taking it nice n slow, my own pace and exploring a lot, I mean a LOT.

Yeah most of my game time was me just looking for secrets and side routes. That said I've explored so thoroughly I've only got two ways to go now and both have killed me. :p

Haha yeah, running around mashing A and slashing at walls eh [emoji6]

So I've sunk almost 20 hours in so far, and I absolutely love the game. It's reminiscent of DS1 in that the map design is extremely large and open, and for once I am actually cautious of enemies.

In DS2, I didn't feel like I needed to be too careful when going through a zone, but in DS1 and DS3, I'm always hesitant.

I pretty much tiptoed through the starting areas of DS2 because I got my ass handed to me so many times.

How far are in DS 2 B1nary? I'm itching to get ds3 even though I'm still busy in Brightscove Tseldora

I had to restart my ds2 because I lost my saves, so I go and pick deprived , lots of fun all you can use it a bandit knife for the first few hours before you have enough stats or even find a decent sword.

Losing saves.... My worst nightmare. Don't think I'd have it me to start again.

ya I thought I backed up all my saves turns out for some reason ds2 saves in flippen C:\Users\*user*\AppData\Roaming

So ya win 10 clean install no steam cloud backups and bye bye, but tis cool i'm in drangleic now after a week

Does ds3 do steam cloud at least ?

A very, very good video from our favorite Jim "Fucking" Inquisition.

For you okes that have touched the water and would like to get further into it, give it a listen, minimize if you worried about spoilers.

Use to love this guy, but it's become apparent that if he likes a game it'll score well and he just glosses over the issues. Same goes for Totalbiscuit lately, claiming the port for Dark Souls 3 is mostly fine, although in his case he has been going through major health issues, so I'll forgive him for that.

This is why I love being on leave:
