Morning all!
Half day Friday. I really hope I can get some gaming done this weekend, for a change. One of the Units at the station is coming off for the weekend though, so I might also end up at work, again
Looks like MyG is semi working again on the work nets, I hope it stays this way.
Edit: as I tried to post this it borked the site again. So it works on and off

Morning everyone. Friday!!! Yay!!! But alas, my DSTV decoder has sadly passed on last night after a lengthy battle with power surge. With it's passing, I will have to make other plans to watch the rugby

so in other news
mr-creepo-upstairs-neighbour it seems is waiting for me to leave the house in the mornings to just "run into me"(not literally). i showed the Fiance this morning.
i opened our front door and waited and sure enough out comes the dude from his house going to his car. strange thing is he normally leaves between 6:50-07:00 in the mornings. this morning by seven he wasnt out of the house yet. i had to wait until 7:15 before i could leave because he only left then to drop of his wife and daughter. UGH

die kwaliteit hang af van jou lyn. en ons kyk dit full screen op ons tv en dis ok, dis nou nie HD nie maar dit voldoen

Ek kyk full screen op my 48" met 'n 2meg lyn. Well, 1.7 meg. Dit werk lekker, maar as ek of my vrou facebook oop maak skakel hy na die lo-res stream toe, waar mens sukkel om die score mooi uit te maak. Dis wel baie beter as die shitty free streams wat ek eers gebruik het!
Al wat suig is dat ek dit tot so maand gelede sommer op my Chromecast gekyk het, dit was die maklikste, maar 'n onlangse update aan SS se kant maak dat klank cast en video nie.

Kwaai dit klink vir my dan na 'n briljante plan. Ek het 'n 10meg capped lyn, maar met 'n lekker groot cap. So ek sal dit bietjie probeer. Sal sommer van die PC af stream, en dan dit na die Xbox One to cast, sodat ek dit op my TV kan kyk

Die Xbox het 'n app, wat nog in beta is, wat pretty much screen casting doen, mits jy 'n Windows 10 PC as dit doen. As jy die app oopmaak, cast jy net jou screen vanaf jou PC na other devices, soos wat mens sal doen met 'n projektor. Werk moer lekker, het dit al 'n paar keer gedoen.

Inderdaad. En as jy 'n wireless mouse en keyboard het, kan jy Steam games speel op die TV wat gestream word van die PC af deur jou Xbox One. Ek het so al Cities Skylines deur my Xbox gespeel...

We are trying to get a new cloud server at Afrihost. We currently have three hosted with them. But we've got our own license for Windows Server 2012 and they want us to pay R250 for a license with them. So we told them we want to make use of our own license and they said no. So they would rather lose the R700 or however much it is per month than let us use our own license.
