Well I did put in some 2 odd hours into the game to check whats what, plus Taurus Demon made an ass out of himself in front of me by leaping to his death, effectively easing my way forward much quicker

No chance of that happening now. I don't have enough talent to beat him. But I'm making a mental note of his transgressions, and he will die...not now, but later....
 
Yes, but that was part of the deal when the petition to port the game to PC was successful. They were willing to port it, but absolutely no extra work went into it.

It sucks, but the alternative was not getting it at all.

If you can get the boar to run into the bonfire in that corridor he'll likely burn to death. So you'll need to be on the opposite side of the fire when he charges. But first you need to take out the skeletons - dive into that passage on the right - but ya don't go up the tower unless you have a plan of action. I poked the knight and lured him down the stairs which gave me an opening to hit him a good many times until I finally killed him.
 
Well, I made a start. Chose the Hunter class, so it should be interesting. Only 2 deaths so far - first one was failing a jump and the second was me being cocky and hoping to kill the first black knight with some firebombs in the undeadburg. It's late so I'll defeat the Taurus Demon tomorrow.

You guys are all like: "Oooo I killed the Taurus Demon with one shot." and "The Taurus Demon jumped off a cliff when it saw me." Well I killed in in my seventh try! Bloody hell.

And every time I try to summon people it fails. I must see if I can make my network better somehow. I'm surprised though! There were a lot of different people to summon and even a botched invasion! So lots of people are still playing the game.

So here is the update for those not informed...I've spent the last hour trying to get to the next bonfire after Taurus Demon, but there is a big-ass boar/bear/rat/wolf thing in the way. So I naturally noped out of that fight very quickly, only to be met with this unholy immortal knight thing standing at the top of the tower. It has been 9 deaths in a row, and I think I may have landed one strike on him doing something like 7 damage, I think. He is impossible! My character is slow and fat-rolls like a pig, I can't outmaneuver the bastard, and the area is so small I can't get away from the hellish nightmare....which mean I have to do the whole bloody thing all over again, past the wall that Taurus demon was on, and into the path of this abomination. I've broken a lighter when it was thrown against the wall.

So, quick break then normal transmission will resume. That fuctard of a knight thing MUST DIE!!!

I am now where you are. You didn't mention the fire drake thing at all. I'm currently at the bonfire just behind it. It flies away when you reach that bonfire which for me is the one just after the taurus demon.

I also got stuck with the boar thing. If you kill the crossbowmen.. err crossbow skeletons at the top then you'll find some alluring skulls. I dropped it close to the fire with the idea to jump on the boar thing but the boar got stuck in the fire and burned to death! :D I see it doesn't respawn.

I managed to kill that knight at the top of the tower though! It also doesn't respawn. I lured him out all the way to the bonfire I was talking about so that when I die I can easily reclaim everything I lost. And it took a couple of times but eventually patience paid off and I beat him after a long battle. I rolled out of the way whenever he attacked and then every now and then I'd take a stab at him. I didn't do much damage but did eventually take him out this way.

Oh and I got my XBox multiplayer fixed! I joined someone as an apparition with the hope to help them fight the taurus demon only to find that they wanted to go kill some monster down in a tower. That monster killed him and I was sent back to my world.

Wait, you say you can get past the drake and find a bonfire? I was running away from it the whole time by going down the stairs once you get to the middle of the bridge. Was to afraid to take on the drake.

I had just finished taking to Solaire , but forgot to heal so I was never ever going to make it. I could do nothing but watch.

That's why you just have to cheese it past him. I never killed him- good source for early soul farming
