these really seem like things that should have been done a long time ago...These improvements include:
• Reworking the hunter classes to make the team less reliant on having experienced trappers and medics.
• Improvements to the maps and UI.
• Improving load times, overall performance, and getting you into the game faster.
• Focusing on improving stability and fixing bugs.
• Completely reworking our progression system and tutorials.
• Adding more customization options.
HAHAHAHA! oh the ironyEvolve has faced controversy after its release, as the multiplayer-only title offered a massive $136 of extra DLC content on day one.
There is no word yet as to how Turtle Rock plan to monetize this free-to-play version.
At least those who never got it can get a chance to try it out, like myself.
2K's greedy DLC policy killed this game - but as a FtP title it's certainly more viable.
and somehow Payday 2 is still alive and well
I see that they've gone back on their microtransactions policy with the chests you get in-game. No longer do you need to buy a key for them.
yes but they have more DLC's than Evolve. And there is a new one out almost monthly
Has anybody here played the game? I'm on the fence about downloading it and giving it a try, and some opinions on gameplay would be awesome![]()

It's fun for a match or two, but gets boring and repetitive really fast.
It's fun for a match or two, but gets boring and repetitive really fast. IMO, this is the main reason it died so fast. People weren't having enough fun with the game to justify dumping bucket-loads of money on DLC.
Most of a match involves running around doing nothing much. The monster has to hide and try to escape the hunters long enough to evolve, and the hunters need to find it before that happens. What ensues is an overly long game of cat and mouse that despite sounding like it should be, just isn't that fun.
