The scope reflection in BF4 is very different I much prefer BF1, but apparently with the weather in the game when a storm comes in you wont see the scope reflection, but also snipers will have limited visibility so it's supposed to balance out.

I looked but I didn't see any where to customise your loadout. I seen you can sort of change it in the spawn screen, but I assumed like Battlefront you could get a few weapon to unlock in the process, I got them warbonds to spend.

When you're in-game, choose a class but don't deploy. You'll see on the bottom left there is a button called "Customize" click on that and you can choose weapons to unlock with the war bonds.
 
Yeah you can buy other weapons with the in game currency and customize your loadout, i expect its pretty limited in the beta though.

yeha am only expecting a few, but I hope BF1 is like Bf4 in that they have a large selection of guns. I think I liked that. I am not sure though as once I found what worked for me I stuck to them and never really tried the others.
Although getting a long range kill with the useless phantom bow on BF4 was satisfying as hell.

There probably won't be as big a selection of guns as BF4 based on the time period but it seems that each gun will have 2 or 3 different configurations to suit your playstyle. It looks like about a third of the guns are available in the beta.
 
yay planes! I am going to have to tweak my controls and put a few hours in to flying properly and feel like I need a joystick, but that might be a flashback to Red Baron.

Got to be the knight with the mini gun and got a few kills, really enjoyed flying though.

Watched a video, cant link it, no youtube at work, but its JackFrags playing with out a UI the game look so good, but it must be so hard to play hope there will be custom no UI servers to play around on.

How long is the beta still running? Ill download this then tonight and then ill only decide if im going to buy it. Not a big fan of the old war shooters anymore.

It doesn't feel like an old war shooter to me. At least not in the way COD and MOH felt back in the day.
Sure you don't have any hi tech gadgets but you do still have some cool gadgets to mess with. the games not going to replace BF4 but I think they will be able to coexist unlike BFH which is essentially dead on pc.

Think you need to reach max level, which is 15 afaik, and you need to play on four different days (not sure if you also need to play on 4 different servers).

Ok so not too bad if I play today I will have four different days, just need to grind a little.

I loaded up a game yesterday and got 900ping before I realised I was downloading in the background, but it was really cool seeing the bomber drop bombs next to me and seeing them hit the ground then explode it a slow slide show, there is a lot of detail to those bombs that you probably will never see.
 
Spent a lot of last night in the air, the dog fighting in these slow planes is just great fun. When bullets are whizzing past your head the sound is awesome.

And the Land Tank, 3rd person in that is awesome its slow but powerful and with two big guns firing on your left and right as you crawl across the landscape, you feel like you own the dessert.

Can't wait for the full release and some local servers. My +200 ping is just awful, Sniping is only possible if the guys standing still. Also though I did get a few good shots of guys running across the desert but those were just lucky.

So I see in the Bf1 beta that Bf4 is coming soon to the new non-browser server browser, what do you guys think about them moving away form the web browser?
 
So noticed that the pricing has increased dramatically on the Origin store. Standard Edition was R600, Deluxe Edition was R850 and Ultrimate was R1200, now pricing has changed to R1000, R1100 and R1899...What in the actual fuck? Did they see the local pricing for COD and decided ooh we need to jump on this pricing train...

Titanfall 2 pricing also increased dramatically...Great.

I'm trying to get hold of EA customer support now.

Strange, I checked it out last night and it's still the same prices that you mentioned. R600 for Standard and so on.

$100 does not convert to R1900.

I'm now thinking of cancelling my pre order and getting my cash back. My mates won't pay these prices and I'm not all that interested in playing the game with random people. As for the conversion argument, the Rand is lower at the moment than it was when the pre order went live, so this sudden increase makes very little sense to me.
