Was wondering the same thing, I see Takealot has it starting at R878.

R1173 for the legacy edition. [-]Is that the one to go for? [/-] edit: Pointless for me as I don't see myself having the time to play COD4 again :p

COD games take really long to go on special don't they? So waiting around for marked down prices is going to be a frustrating exercise...

All physical versions are Steam copies.

Yeah COD games do take an eternity to go on sale.
You should be going for the Legacy edition, it's well worth it. The amount of content alone makes it worth it. Yes COD MW Remaster is just a remaster, but it was done really well..The multiplayer feels epic and even though I've played through Modern Warfare more times than I care to remember, I'll play ti again now. I still consider it as one of the best campaigns ever.

It's 100% fine on IW, the MWR uses full p2p connecting, so on the odd occasion you may get a laggy game.
I played around 20 mp rounds on MWR and only had 3 lobbies that weren't great/international. The others were flawless and a HUGE amount of fun.

hahaha was hoping you'd make a comment. Honestly, I'm just looking for a reason to like CoD and I am extremely hesitant as I have never played CoD for anything but it's single player.

Ive been in the lobby for 30mins now in IW, when exactly does the MP game kick in???

People generally start playing at around 6.
 
Back to CNA for a refund on IW, again, its impossible to play MP with the LAG, I wish I could say its my connection but I'm on a 10mb connection 1:10 ratio, it cant be me, is anyone else having issues with LAG in MP?

We are so getting screwed in this country its not even funny anymore, BF1, no servers, IW, who knows what they running, if its P2P or servers again outside of SA, this is a total joke

For those of you out there who are planning on buying this game, the SP is mind blowing, the MP is a load of crap, everyone is sliding all over the floors and all sorts of crap, either I'm too old or this is the new gen style of play, total waste of my money

Thanks for this man! I bought the Legacy Edition specifically for the SP campaign for IW and MWR. I'm enjoying IW so far.

Entertain me for a bit. Correct me if I am wrong but... You bought the game, registered it on steam, then returned it? So you got the game and your money back? Unless you are on a console.
