[MyGame] Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning

I decided I need to do the scholia arcana side quest ASAP as i'm a mage and all. so i'm busy speeding through that. dunno how much more of the main quest is left, i should still be on track to finish with time to spare. but (like grim dawn) its gonna take a while to 100% it I'm afraid.
 
I still have just over 2 weeks for completion. Not sure I'll make it. Going to try though... :)
 
So I killed the Balar thing....that was anti-climatic...or I'm OP as I my meteor 1-shotted him. Couldve sworn I chose hard difficulty at start of the game :p
 
Oh my gosh! I dont even know why I still try to participate in My Game every time! I suck at it!

I am finally back from travels, holiday and have just recovered from a hectic first few days back at work. Is there still time to catch up and finish the main quest this month?

I'd assume you've done many side quests and so on and are a really high level, since I passed that fight long before getting meteor :p

Not so much. I actually got meteor just before the whole siege thing. I've only finished the scholia arcana quest and done a few side quests before deciding to just barrel through. So I'm at i think 72 sorcery points (if meteor needs 70).

Final thoughts:
Stealth sucks. Sneaking is a total pain, even when I had maximum sneaking it never worked properly.
Felblades seem useless when enemies don't really attack you all at once.
The game definitely feels like an older MMO, areas while good looking, had little variety with regards to enemies.
Boss fights can be cheesed with a Bow and reckoning skill.

Overall it was probably a decent game when it came out in, today it has aged slightly specially with it's combat and questing.

Also, the story comes together a little better in the end of it all.

Hey guys.

This probably totally goes against protocol, but would it be at all possible for us to get an extension, maybe until the middle of February? KoA:R is extremely long and there were holidays in between while I was away. I feel like I will be able to finish the game if I just have another month. Please? Help a brother out...

Hi Stagger. You can take as long as you want to finish the game. But unfortunately to come into contention for the badge you have to finish it in the allotted time. It makes the whole thing a bit of a challenge. Sometimes there will be long games and sometimes short games. But for every MyGame (except some of the early ones) you'll have 2 months to finish it.

In the voting spreadsheet it's even called the MyGame Challenge. :)

Challenge is on the mark, felt like forcing Brussels sprouts down my face hole, like the whole I know I need to be healthy but I don't want to feeling, except with a game and without it being healthy, what i'm trying to say is this thought put to text no longer makes sense.

Yeah I'm not going to finish this either, not because of corrupt saved games or anything, just because I lost interest in the game and it felt like I was wasting my time, time I could be spending on other games.

Sorry KoA, I wanted to like you; it isn't you, it's me. I'm just in that place in my life where I need to focus on my career. Of course we can still be friends, call you tomorrow?

Same for me - I find it enjoyable enough when I'm playing but choosing it over other games at the moment is not really happening.
