[MyGame] Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning

So I just killed Octienne. He was tougher than what i'd been facing thus far, but mostly coz you get easily stunlocked during the assassin fight bits. it takes me too long to mark them all, and my summon is retarded and goes and stands next to octienne so is no help at all...sigh

well at least its done now :p

I've made a new character. I'm going to stick it out until the end of the month.
See how many side quests I can get done. If I can't finish them, too bad, but I really want a KoA icon in my profile. So, in the last wee, I'm going to push for finishing the game.

I really love playing this game, which is why I bought it last year.

Oh? I don't pay attention to the plot. is he somehow relevant? Sorry... is ANYONE at this point up to par with the story? :p

Story is really simple however, it's crowded with unnecessary plot mechanics. This makes it harder to actually follow. As far as I recall, you died, but did not die, so that is not good for the bad guy's but, good for the good guys?

Made it to the cradle of summer, after defeating the gnome/dwarf paladin (Octienne). Was a tough fight made worse by the funky camera angels that pop into place sometimes.

*edit*
It annoys me that I can not run and jump over small objects and walls, additionally finding specific points to jump off to lower areas, is also an annoyance.

Worst game I've had the displeasure of playing.

There is no story, just a bunch of boring fillers.

I kind of liked the story, it all made sense in the end for me, found it kind of cool how my character fit into the world.

I'm still hopeful about finishing the game by the end of the month - but my progress is painfully slow due to the way I play RPG's - getting sucked into side quests, reading books, fiddling with inventory and crafting...

If you get to the Balor fight, make sure you have a bow ready or, you have 100% fateweave to make it easier.

That's the way I enjoy playing them as well - it does mean it takes a long time to finish.

So after 31 hours My journey has finally come to an end, would love to say I enjoyed it like I did the First time but alas I pretty much speed ran the last section of the game because I felt like my soul was dying but I finished it and saved the universe as per usual :D

Nice! Sounds like a chore, and thus not missing much.

I'm Not gonna lie it was ok in the beginning but became a bit of a pain, I didnt want the hours I put in to go to waste so force myself to finish.

I was home for 3 weeks and did nothing....

Ditto. Although I did start the game, create my character and complete the opening section where you escape the tower. But alas that is as far as I have gotten, while I have enjoyed the limited amount of the game I have seen thus far I don't know if I will be able to complete this MyGame in time. :(
