[MyGame] Spec Ops: The Line

I'll probably finish it either today or tomorrow. Man, those who haven't played it yet... that story! The stuff that's going to happen!

I also want to finish it this weekend still. If the game is 6-7 hours long, then I am almost halfway (I think).

I'll be playing it in 1080p this time.

Might even start tonight; little bit of an update remaining.

Awesome, I think I'm also just after halfway. And completely on topic.

Will you be starting Spec Ops The Line (Dark Souls 3) this weekend? Let me know if you'd like me to join.

Yeah I'd like to start Spec Ops the Souls this weekend.
Maybe this evening if things work out

If you are as tired of the long intro as I am, you can do the following to skip it.

Go to your Steam Library and find Spec Ops: The Line. Right Click > Properties. Click Set launch options and then paste the following in there (without the quotes): "-nostartupmovies -nosplash" and click OK.

The game will no launch straight to the main menu.

Managed to get to chapter 8, the game does make me a little dizzy and naar tho :( Also lovely bug, during the cutscenes I loose all voice and sounds. Luckily I have subtitles on.

Also WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY only 2 weapons at a time dammit.

Aaand done.

Nicely done! I stopped early last night due to a splitting headache. (Thanks work!) Will probably finish it today or tomorrow.

Aw it sucks that you get that bug and that it makes you dizzy!

What a fucking start to the game. Keyboard and mouse stopped functioning at the start of the first mission. Had to force-restart my PC.

I've gotten to chapter 12. Enjoying it so far, the ammo problem has me more focused on head shots than I figured I would be doing but at least that ended up with another achievement.

Using these now, thanks!

Well, there goes my MyGame. I can't even get the game started up. The moment it reaches the menu, it freezes my computer to the point that I have to hard reset. Well, see you all in April then.

EDIT: Also tried some fixes recommended online, but none of them work. When starting up the game in forced window mode, I can see that it even crashes Steam.

Aw no man! It's so weird that you guys have problems with the game. I played it the first time on an AMD card and now again on an nVidia card and haven't experienced any problems whatsoever. It's such a good game. It sucks that you can't play it.

KB + Mouse or Controller

What's your preference here?

Definitely mouse and kb. Ammo is limited and you need to go for headshots constantly.

Right. So finished on Suicide. Next run will be FUBAR, and then I may need to play on easiest to get the last of the annoying achieves (go 3 chapters without death or restart, those sort of ones).

Should be an easy 100% achieve, noone has any excuses ;)

I played it up until halfway a year or so ago on my desktop with an AMD card. Desktop is still in for motherboard replacement, so I can't play it on that either. Besides, I can only play with a controller on my desktop and, seeing as the game needs a fairly high degree of accuracy, I don't want to spoil it by not using a keyboard and mouse. So looks like I won't be finishing this easy MyGame after all. :(

EDIT: Finally got it working! Yay! Played up until Chapter 2 and now I'm done for the weekend and week. Will continue next weekend.
