[MyGame] Spec Ops: The Line

In between all the alt tabbing and issues last night I missed out who Riggs is. Someone please explain :D

I am on chapter 12 now :D
 
Played some more yesterday. Got to Chapter 6. Luckily the game hasn't asked me to lower the difficulty again (yet). That one part in chapter 5 took some doing though.

Made it to Chapter 4!

The amount of good music in the game is really amazing. Chapter 4 features Deep Purple as it blares through the speakers. Just a bit of a parallel to the Vietnam war, since everything went FUBAR in Vietnam, the same events have transpired in Spec Ops. 'Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.'
 
Grinding my way through FUBAR...the bit with Riggs right after meeting him was surprisingly painful. Especially since every time I died (at the heavy after i've basically run out of ammo and both teammates charge him like retards and die) it would replay the flashbang cutscene and him shooting the two soldiers, and its unskippable :cry:

But I persevered and have gotten as far as right after you fight off the Zebra guys for the first time.

Dont even get me started on that. I had to end up googling it, and there are MANY discussions out there detailing how frustrating that section is on FUBAR.

What ended up working for, really strangely, is running without sprinting for like a full 3 seconds after the cutscene, i then made it through the entire section in 1 go, where previously i could barely go 10 feet before being cut to ribbons...

...so annoying

Hmmm, thanks I'll give that a try. I keep dying as I'm about to run into the side passage - I think it's from the rocket blast or something.
 
HAHAHAHAH That is still the easy part! I got that easily. The Gatehouse. . . . that is all I will say. . . .

On what difficulty would that be? :p

Gatehouse is difficult I will admit... but its fair. It gives you a chance for cover, and if you die its on you...on the 2 highest difficulties that chopper run is really just RNG + luck, 2 very crappy combinations... Its even easier than the water tank area i'd say, which I just got through today with it only asking me once if i'd like to restart on a lower difficulty (no checkpoint before the chopper and hum vees???? :()
