[MyGame] Spec Ops: The Line

On wards to Chapter 7!



More music to bring out the imagery of despair and madness!

Chapter 5 Features The Black Angels Bad Vibrations as you fight your way through the 33rd and attempt to save the civilians. The lyrics are quite catchy; Can you tell a wish from a spell? A hug from a lie? They both make you feel so gone At this stage no one knows what's happening in Dubai. Everyone has gone crazy.

Chapter 6 had Verdi Dies Irae (Day of Wrath) pretty self explanatory. With the Helicopter scene, Free Bird (how ironic) which is obviously a stab at Apocalypse now's Flight of the Valkyries chopper scene.
 
Finished Chapter 6 last night, but died so much in 7 that I quickly called it a night. [emoji14]

At least there's still some time left and it's a fairly short game.

I've got up to the beginning of Chapter 9 - hoping to play some more today.

With this being my second playthrough it's really interesting to see how Captain Walker loses contact with reality after the white phosphorus incident. Knowing that he is imagining Konrad's voice and test, it's great to see how they handled it in such a way that it both makes sense when you think he is really talking to Konrad and when you know that it's just him talking to a dead walkie talkie.

It's awesome! It was my second playthrough too so this time I too experienced it completely differently, knowing about Konrad. They did it really well.
