MyGaming Discord Server

I'll join the Discord channel. I'll probably never join anything ever, being the antisocial person that I am... But maybe I'll be tempted to join something so will be good to have the channel and keep my eyeballs on it.

(Nice to see the MyG Discord channel getting used and this thread getting some love. The Discord platform was probably still a little rough and glitchy when I set it up back in 2015, but I do agree that it's a lot more stable and useful these days. Long may it last!)

If I knew the guy it wouldn't be a problem, but randomly wading into a channel (uninvited, but that's not a big issue), tuning "Whaddup, bitch", then mumbling something when a response isn't immediately forthcoming and leaving, it becomes a problem :P

Maybe it was a mistake? Maybe it was someone who knows you (even if you don't really know them, you do have quite a far reach)?
I just think instant banhammer is a bit harsh for that kind of thing, but thats just me.


I once called my best friends step mom a bitch. Called him from my cellphone and it auto dialled his HOME instead of CELL number, so she answers hi and i go HOWZIT BITCH! what you up to?
I hung up shortly after realising it wasn't him when she went "excuse me? who is this?"

Definitely. If it becomes a bigger problem we might have to do that.

I could also appoint some mods for the Discord. This time round I happened to be online, but to help protect against someone who might be disruptive while I am not online it might be handy to have other people around who can mute, kick, or ban.
