Also in the police station area, although I ran around picking up all available sidequests, most of which involve the police station.
Are you meant to get some kind of mission debrief? Since I've been skippin all cutscenes (this will be my 4th attempt at playing this game, furthest I got was the gang infiltration before getting over it), I may have missed it. But I was never presented with a screen telling me i ghosted this, or set off X amount of alarms...Are they part of the cutscenes?
I also tried, started, cant remember the start - I kept dying. I remember I suck at this game. Also running the Missing Link DLC
Are you also participating?
Not commiting to it 100% yet - will see if I can do it, currently my mental state makes me not right for this type of gameplay - need instant gratification

I'm adding you to the list but don't feel pressured into participating.![]()
Just consider sneaking past a room full of dudes as gratification.

So, there are two things I want to address. two things that have been apparent playing the first few hours of the game.
The first is the tension between augmented people and the "pure breeds". This tension is very similar to racial tensions seen in the real world, and I would guess the writers took a lot of real world situations to create a very believable scenario. It is interesting to note that in a country like America, where racial tension is quite high, the simulation of augmentation tension is also very apparent. The augmented people of Detroit don't dwell near well-lit areas. They are all situated in the alleys, in poorer areas, and via the delivery of some side missions, it's clear that augmented people have a very harsh life if they are not part of the wealthy upper class. Funny enough, in Hengsha, China, the tension between augmented people and normal people are not based on socio-economic factors, but more a divide between the legal and illegal side of the society. It's very fitting taking into account that this is supposed to play off in China.
What I've found to be fascinating is the fact that the designers and writers have actively spent the time to create this cultural divide between how augments are handled in Detroit versus Hengsha. Both scenarios play off just as you would expect them to be based on current real world trends. Very cool, the small little detail I like.
