I bought a 55" one now and am very disappointed. It's got serious backlight issues. Busy returning it now. I hope the can give me one that doesn't have that problem.

The 2016 and 2017 models are the ones that start with K and M, I believe.

Yes I think they are. It sucks that your TV has that issue; did you try the firmware thing the guys suggested on MyBB?

No, already contacted Loot yesterday morning. So on Thursday a Samsung technician will come have a look. He'll then see if it's fixable or if they will exchange it.
 
My father-in-law has a K series Samsung - I'll have to hijack his TV to try it out :D (we share the property) - I wonder if they'll bring the Steamlink app to LG tv's since that is what I've got.

Did you manage to try it?
 
I just tested it and it works just fine (I also have a K series Samsung TV). I just updated my TV to the latest firmware and got the app.

Only sucky thing is I have to sit close enough so the USB cable can connect between the controller and TV.
