Welcome to MyGame 10!

MyGame is like a book club for games. We get together and play a game during a specific time period. From the start to the finish. Sometimes there are awards that gets displayed on your profile. We also chat in the evenings while we play and it's a lot of fun. Buy it, play it, join our chats in the evenings, be happy and content with the world.

We will start playing on the 1st of October and will have until the end of November to finish the game. You have to start a new game and play from the beginning to the end in order to get a badge that shows on your profile.

I wonder if I shouldn't play through Tomb Raider (2013) in preparation for this...

Last time I couldn't run it with TressFX so I guess I'd better do a replay :D

Very happy about Rise winning. I played it a bit but never got to finish the game. Will be playing on Xbox One though. Even then this game is bloody gorgeous. Incredibly beautiful. The gameplay is also much better than its predecessor. Looking forward to this one.

I'll be playing, but i'll be replaying...so i'll have to screenshot like the days newspaper along with the win to prove i redid it or something, since achievements were all done like a year ago (not ALL, I might get the baba yaga dlc now just to play that too)

In a similar position here, except I haven't completed the game yet. I've been playing it on and off for the past couple of months. Already completed the Baba Yaga DLC without even knowing it, as I tend to sniff out side quests before advancing the main story.
 
I'm really looking forward to it. Rise of the Tomb Raider has been on my wishlist for a long time. Sunday, if all goes well, I'll be playing it the whole day.
 
New thermal paste worked on my card, and this is one I really want to finish!

Looking forward to finally getting a MyGame completed!
 
6 hours left on the download but I'll probably pause at some point for youtube. Even then should be ready for tomorrow.
 
All good so far, feels a lot like the original in some ways, which is good. As opposed to having something radically different.

Is any one else getting some Bible vibes from the story?

  • A Prophet is presented.
  • Usage of Greek as opposed to Hebrew.
  • At some point they are killed and come back from the dead.
  • Bad guy with holes in his hands (possible allusion to crucification?)
