[MyGame] Rise of the Tomb Raider

And we're off. I'll be going for Extreme Survivor (survivor mode with saves only at campfires). thats one of the achievements i dont have yet (think it isn't unlocked until you beat in survivor mode...THINK)

EDIT: nvm, extreme survivor is only available for the 20th anniversary edition. guess i'm playing in easy mode (since i have survivor already, so going for completion)

I don't have any of the DLC, so if I do play, it will only be the standard game.

It will also be the 3rd time I start this game. I started it once on Xbox1, then again on my PC and I played a bit further along, but never finished it.

So perhaps try nr 3 is the one.

Also I see the Season Pass is currently on special at Steam. I wonder if it's worth buying.
 


I am actually on my third tomb, but since Shadow play is borked and I am still learning to use OBS I forgot to record the following ones.

I also saw that, so I bought it.

I did however forget to download the game! :D
I still had a *cough* trial copy on my PC, but forgot that it was indeed a trial copy. So yeah, 22GB download still has to happen, so I'll only start with the game during the week perhaps.
 
So I got to the 2nd base camp today. Don't think i'll be getting the 20th Anniversary one, just a bit too expensive for what to me isn't a "new" game, but just an add-on.

Forgot that I have a cool enough setup that ROTR does things like this:

I've started my playthrough of the 2013 reboot and will then make my way onto Rise of the Tomb Raider. Enjoying TR 2013 all over again, still a great looking game.
 
The more I play the more I feel like I am playing Uncharted in some strange way.



Escaped the prison and now it's through the copper mines I go.

unless you going for all the endgame achievements with the cards etc...well then good luck :p

Surprisingly a lot of the game is designed for you to go back and do things you previously could not do, due to a lack of skill/equipment. So there is plenty to do in the first few areas.
 
The lack of ammo on "Survivor" difficulty is proving to be the biggest challenge. I'm having to scramble and craft ammo mid combat. Every damn shot has to count.
