[MyGame] Rise of the Tomb Raider

I'm doing whatever comes accross my way. I stopped last night after Lara had the trippiest experience after sniffing some strange flowers; bad Lara!

So far the Tomb Raider difficulty is also very easy, almost wish I started on a bit higher difficulty.

I believe that’s the Baba Yaga DLC that you’re starting. I enjoyed it more than some of the main story quests so far...

I'm about 15%ish in so far. Spent most of Saturday struggling to set up my PC in my living room. Turns out Windows 10 has a 'feature' that MS hasn't done anything about that stops DTS Connect and DD Live from working, so I'm only getting 2.1 sound.

However, I did turn on the 3D option and my word it looks amazing!

Think I'm like 29% or something?

I'm being the collection whore I am though, finding all the survival cache's, etc. before wanting to move on to the next area.

I think mine showed 16% when I last played. Will probably continue tomorrow evening. Will definitely play a lot over the weekend.

What difficulty are you guys playing on? I'm on survivalist.

I'm on the normal difficulty, whatever that is. :)

I'll have to find a guide on how to find all the tombs. I get to places where it says there's a tomb nearby and then I search like crazy and don't find it. I did find one by accident though. The Red Tomb or something like that.

Tomb Raider (the 2nd one).

I'm a bit disappointed now, should maybe have taken 1 or 2 steps higher. I took Tomb Raider because this is the 3rd time I'm attempting to play the game, and I didn't want to get discouraged and stop playing again because of dying too much. Unfotunately I can't adjust the difficult mid game.

Ya, me too, but there's things I need to go back for. A few locked doors when I didn't have my lockpick yet... Stuff like that.

Think I'm also on Tomb Raider... Since I am playing with a controller, and I can't aim worth crap, I'm making a butt tonne of arrows, more that I would need with kb/mouse.

I'll be at a friend's LAN this weekend so maybe if I'm awake when everyone else crashes I'll play some with my keyboard and see how it goes :)

Started playing on the weekend, but haven't got very far.

The game is so pretty!

I got to try it at the Valkyrie invitational CS:GO tournament where ASUS had it running to show off its laptops, and I was impressed then by just how good the game looked. Now that I'm playing it on a bigger screen it's even better.

Some of the tombs are only accessible when you have new equipment, so it’s worth revisiting camp sites later on to grab everything you missed that you couldn’t access before. I constantly run around and press the survival instincts button to see what I can interact with, which also helps in finding entrances to caves and tombs.

I missed the challenge in the first area (Syria) and it doesn't look like I can go back for it

Ack, that sucks! I am not sure if I got it, but I've been worried there's stuff you can't go back for. Gonna have to be mindful.

I was wrong, I'm actually at 39%. Finished the Baba Yaga stuff last night, so now i can move on to the next area.

I knew about it and was looking out for it, and I still missed it. Once you get to the top of the tower thing the cutscene starts and you're screwed, you can't go back

I think I'm going to focus on the game, resources and the tombs and not worry about the challenges too much. What are the rewards for challenges again?

I missed a chest in Syria my first playthrough, very annoying. Fortunately Syria is the only place you can't backtrack to in the game, the others you can all get to right up until the game warns you theres no going back.
