There are 2 cheap and suitible replacements for fossil oil. Chip oil and moonshine. I don't give a damn about the "Environment" there's fuck all we have done to it, and there fuck all we CAN do to it, it's a natural prosess affected by natural causes that are out of our hands. Only reason I support alternate fuels is because oil is really running out.
One hectar of land can grow enough ethanol fuel to each year to keep the grand prix running for that year. So yeah, people just need to get over there greed.
"Global Warming" is also a bullshit term, the gobal average tempereature is actualy going down. Temperatures in North and South America, Southern Africa, and Australia are going up, but in europe and most of asia there going down by almost double the rate.
And climate predictions actualy shouw that those warming arias are reaching a peack where it will than drasticly drop into a minor ice age and than become a much more stable global climate. Even the Sahara desert should become a semi-fertile savanah when it's all over.
So 2012 is probably as a good a time as any for this drop to begin.
And personaly, If us humans are the cause, I'de rather want to do everything in my power to accelerate process and get it over with.
Thumbs up.
The climate has never been and never will be stable. It changes all the time. I have no doubt the atmosphere will eventually deteriorate but I don't think that's any reason to invest any attention into it, quite honestly. It'll happen, probably in millions of years where we've killed ourselves by other means.
I don't believe oil is scarce, I think it's being made scarce because scarcity is profitable. There are many other means of obtaining and refining oil. You mean to tell me Twilight can make $80,000,000 in one day and not a single engineer or scientist in the world can make oil? Wouldn't believe you.
There are always theories on the end of the world. It's not something new and there were just as many theories back in the Jesus days as there are now.
I guess it's partially opinion, but global warming and 2012 just don't do it for me.
