Oil and 2012

There are 2 cheap and suitible replacements for fossil oil. Chip oil and moonshine. I don't give a damn about the "Environment" there's fuck all we have done to it, and there fuck all we CAN do to it, it's a natural prosess affected by natural causes that are out of our hands. Only reason I support alternate fuels is because oil is really running out.

One hectar of land can grow enough ethanol fuel to each year to keep the grand prix running for that year. So yeah, people just need to get over there greed.

"Global Warming" is also a bullshit term, the gobal average tempereature is actualy going down. Temperatures in North and South America, Southern Africa, and Australia are going up, but in europe and most of asia there going down by almost double the rate.

And climate predictions actualy shouw that those warming arias are reaching a peack where it will than drasticly drop into a minor ice age and than become a much more stable global climate. Even the Sahara desert should become a semi-fertile savanah when it's all over.

So 2012 is probably as a good a time as any for this drop to begin.

And personaly, If us humans are the cause, I'de rather want to do everything in my power to accelerate process and get it over with.

Thumbs up.

The climate has never been and never will be stable. It changes all the time. I have no doubt the atmosphere will eventually deteriorate but I don't think that's any reason to invest any attention into it, quite honestly. It'll happen, probably in millions of years where we've killed ourselves by other means.

I don't believe oil is scarce, I think it's being made scarce because scarcity is profitable. There are many other means of obtaining and refining oil. You mean to tell me Twilight can make $80,000,000 in one day and not a single engineer or scientist in the world can make oil? Wouldn't believe you.

There are always theories on the end of the world. It's not something new and there were just as many theories back in the Jesus days as there are now.

I guess it's partially opinion, but global warming and 2012 just don't do it for me.

Yes I am telling you that. And I am not refering to "global warming" or 2012. Money that gets printed means nothing it is not tangible. Gold is tangible and that sort of thing. America owes money to every one. We are at peak oil and let me tell you it is not unlimited. And scientist can produce other things but in practice it is just to expensive. Paper money has no real value. Gold and silver is real. And if a country does not have that and there currency falls they are fucked. Oil is tangible. Oil is not going to last forever and just making stuff to replace it is just a pipe dream. You cannot produce something like that in lab and expect to fill up demands for it.

You're talking about a dooms day that we will not see in our life times.

It would be a very slow and gradual event. Like the fall of the romans, it didn't happen over night, it really didn't, it happened over decades of war and the romans just vanished with a quiet whisper. Same thing is going to happen.

There are only 2 possible ways for a sudden annihilation of our world. Nucklear war, and than all life on earth would be gone forever. or an asteroid impact, and than theres stll a very good chance that us humans would just adapt and start our world again.

And both event would probably make the univerce a signifigantly better place.

I agree with you there. But If the oil is being drained very fast (War will follow) We might just see it start to collapse.

By my order!

YAY! then it would be like Fallout :D and we will be listening to the same music for 200 years!

No actualy if theres nucklear war. ALL life would be gone, the planet will remain lethaly irradiated for millenia, the atmosphere would be stripped from the surface and it would basicly be worce than the surface of mars. Space stations like the ISS might survive for a few more years, but yeah, supplies run out.

My theory of how the wars is gonna turn out is like this:

Middle eastern Islamic terrorist manage to get a nuke in to the US and set it off somewhere important. The US retaliate with there own nucklear stikes into the middle east, and also use it as an excuse to attack N-Korea. N-Korea unleash there own nucklear attack again the US and there allies. The Europeans don't know whats going exactly and strike against eastern asia. The entire process basicly means thousands of nucklear warheads going, all within the span of a few hours. The atmosphere gets stripped into space from all the blasts, possibly ignites, and everything dies. There might be some life left in the oceans, but without an atmosphere, they boil away aswell eventualy.

For all we know the oil companies already have developed alternate energy solutions, and they are all colluding to keep us in the dark, so that they don't cannibalise on their current cash cow which is oil and can extort us when supply gets low. Then just before crisis point they release their new hydrogen fuel cell engines, that are way better then the combustion engine, and rip us off completely because the only substitute is oil and it is selling for $10 million a gallon.

If I was in business, that's what I would do.

This very thing has been mentioned and used as the very reason as to why the US invaded Afghanistan and Iraq.
These 2 countries have lots of it.
And if there are wars, there can be no peace.
mwhuahahaha

Do post those links, lilDeath.

Um well yes....everything does tend to run downhill eventually and while the end may not be quite so "imminent" as some may think, it's coming.
