They have the most random "experts" who seem to get killed more than often.

I get what you are saying, but its easy playing at home when its just you and your cat watching, but do it live on a show watched by thousands of people, while at the same time trying to present and say something significant about the game. :D

Quite a few of the episodes I watched had pre recorded game time and they still got pwned. But yes it kind of hard to talk about what is happening while it is happening.

I hate it when people ask what you doing while you playing.

it depends really. often people have complaints about things they dont know about and then once they get to know some of the ins and outs they have valuable suggestions etc. PS3ZA has been a very interesting one - a lot of playful banter as well as some full blown arguments, but on the whole they're pretty supportive. Mygaming has been very responsive from the beginning which is nice :)

Yeah I think you're right on the mark there. It's one of the reasons I haven't stuck around on the dedicated forums i.e. ps3za & xbox360-forums.

The MyGaming lads on the other hand have always been chilled. I think most of us enjoy it here because it's a fresh break from hardcore and/or diehard gaming fanboys (and girls :o) to just enjoy each other's company and topics.

Back on topic, I've started watching a little bit more of the Verge and even though I've shared my views of the show, I must say that PlayR came across much more rounded off and 'cleaner'. I'm not sure if it's the lense-type they used for filming, but you look different and more at ease on there.

The absence of scrolling messages and such was also a welcome change. For The Verge, I would ideally see it removed as well, but if it has to be on there - why not have it either top or bottom scrolling instead of both? It kinda makes the screen more clogged than my WoW UI. :o

Anyways, keep it up!
