ROFLMFAO!Is that my fault how? And FYI loads of people disagree and dislikes me here.
You are always very quick to link stats into your arguments.
Hmm, and like you mentioned, quite a few people here, (and from what I know in other forums as well) take offense and annoyance to your posting style, perhaps those stats should speak for themselves?
I think it is more the tone of your internet voice, if I can say that. Perhaps you should just try change it up a bit and see what happens. Say the same types of things but in a more controlled way. There are numerous ways to say the same thing and they can achieve varied results.
But then again I get the feeling that your posts have little to do with wanting any real discussion on your part, and more to do with you getting off on our responses somehow. To each his own I guess.

It's true, actually. Since I finished Bioshock 2, my life has no meaning. Now I prowl the interwebs, looking for fights.
Metro 2033 needs to hurry up.
larch (lärch)
n.
1. Any of several deciduous, coniferous trees of the genus Larix, having needlelike leaves clustered on short shoots and heavy, durable wood.
2. A person with an uncanny ability of being blinded by his own self-righteousness. Completely unaware of his tone when writing. larch becomes defensive when confronted with conflict and uses statistics as a backbone.

Yup that is me a smug moral sense of superiority derived from the fact that I have never pirated games or software in my entire life. Also a proper debate and discussion consists of researching a topic providing sources and links to backup your statements. That forms part of any good debate or discussion. But if reading scares you ill post pretty pictures.

I didn't read all of this. Frankly, I couldn't be bothered.
Yeah, I'm going to go ahead and call B.S. on this one...unless you're one of those guys who've never fapped and watched pr0n either. I'm betting you pay your TV license as well as never exceeding the 60km/h speed limit. Then "I stand corrected and learn something new each day."![]()

Bullshit!

Your entire argument is based on misinterpreted statistics. While it may make sense to you, your average observant and sentient person will be able to see that your statements are just bullshit. You can of course remain ignorant towards what I just said, but then you would just be proving my point.

Fundamentally however, I believe it's the duty of of the publisher/dev to make the DRM as unintrusive as possible for their legitimate customers. I don't actually mind DRM, so long as it doesn't waste my time or money. Unfortunately, with the method proposed by Ubisoft, thats not the case. It's a very intrusive method of DRM which will undoubtedly waste my time (should my internet drop, which it will. This is SA...) and my money (bandwidth is expensive). While I have no problem with the internet connectivity requirements for MP gaming, I don't want to have to use my internet connection all the time for an SP game.
