My wife says she`s buying me a 'air traffic controller' t-shirt
Woooooooooooooooooooot!
I officially own a Roccat Kave. It arrived today.
First Impressions - Its different to my Cyber Snipa Stinger. Once I put them on I cant hear anything. I can't even hear myself typeThe noise canceling is amazing!. The sound is so super clear
I have not heard anything this clear!
Edit: Reviews don't do justice to this headset. I just tried it on Modern Warfare 2 and i can hear so fine details like water drops etc. I Can hear myself run much better. its insane! Its going to take a little while to get used too.
Its actually scary to a point if somebody robs my home while I am using these bad boys, they can take everything and I wont even know lol
Dude, those be the very same type of searches, there's no definitive answer to the HOW DO I MAKE MINE VIBRATE question...
Sure, i understand that it reacts to BASS, but with mine I'm not getting any vibration, maybe i need to push it up to DEAFINING before it starts? dunno....
Dissecting the eDimensional AudioFX headphones would answer that for you nicely.
Basically, the 'vibration drivers' are essentially just micro-woofers of sorts which have their active surface placed directly against the metal backing of the primary audio driver, or as I imagine in the Roccat's case, against another 'solid' surface within the headphones.
With the AudioFX, by simply taking a thin piece of toilet paper/foam or the like and placing it between the micro-woofers and the surface they're interacting with, or even using stand-off washers if the mounting system is such that you can remove their contact with the surface, you can achieve excellent bass from the headphones instead.
I'd still be enjoying the use of my AudioFX headphones had my friend not been kind enough to break mine two days after they arrived from eDimensional :l Got mine as payment for doing some work for them, so returning them for a replacement wasn't much of an option...
To more specifically answer how to get yours to vibrate though... If you're using a Creative series card, simply enable 'bass redirection' while in 5.1 speaker config. For on-board chipsets, look for a similar function.
