anyone watching SENGOKU BASARA TWO?

yukimuraaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!

Took a brief look at the story while I was doing my 2010 Anime preview posts - but it's not one of my favourite genre's to be honest. I'll probably watch it at some point, but it's not on my priority watching list :p Besides which, I'd have to watch the first season first.

Finished DMC yesterday... meh, so I finaly watched the Naruto Movie... Kakashi is so fawesome!

The ultimate and best is....

Kenshin!!!
Ruoroni Kenshin

The best anime ever
Have you seen Death Note?
It's been floating around anime news streams and forums for a while now, but Manga publishers have taken a much tougher stance with regards to scanlation sites - a number of them are starting to shut down - I'm not sure how much longer MangaFox is going to be around for either. They've already started restricting access to certain series based on demands from publishing houses.

While I agree with the stance in principle, I'm upset that this applies to all manga series, not just those that have been licensed - meaning that a number of rather excellent series effectively fall out of reach since they don't always get licensed.

MangaFox, AFAIK, are only taking series down in response to cease & desist letters from publishers - one or two other sites are looking into adopting a similar operation as Crunchyroll, in which they have license to publish manga online for a minimal fee.
Fucking western Influence!

Fucking western Influence!

Language, language :p

Personally, I don't really have a problem, just, like I said, its going to put a lot of series beyond our reach because publishing houses don't feel like licensing them is worth it. Unless you feel like learning Japanese and ordering directly from publishers in Japan.

And, OMG, the cost of shipping!! 0.o

Is the second season of K-ON as good as the first?

No idea on this mikade, I'm waiting for the series to complete before I start watching. It's longer though - if I remember right the first season was 13 episodes, the second season will run to 24.

ergo proxy was awesome!

tried the black rock shooter ova today
was decent..

Still want to watch that - but I'm catching a somewhat negative vibe from the general online community. I get the feeling it might have been a little over-hyped, and people were expecting more than they got.

Which one...ergo proxy/black rock shooter....?

Oh ... oops. Black Rock Shooter - sorry for not being more specific.

I have seen Ergo Proxy. It's good, in it's own way, and as you said earlier, has a WTF?! factor - but if you want WTF?! in big angry red letters, like this:

WTF!?!

Then I suggest Serial Experiments Lain.

Which I suddenly feel like watching again.

i didnt know black rock shooter existed and went in with an open mind.. no expectations
was decent but lots of school girl stuff.. hence people might not love it..
i didnt mind... nothing really mind blowing but will watch more

was like an intro i hope..

Ive heard the same. I already have it, just have to start watching it.

Have you seen Saikano by any chance...?

I have indeed. Quite sad, and pretty good - but dunno. A part of me didn't like it, and I'll be damned if I can tell you why.

I can tell you why
SPOILER:
Because the poor guys ends up as the last human on earth with only the "memories" of the girl implanted into his head. He is stuck with no one else there and is just going to starve to death while living in his own little "inner world". I don't know why I subject myself to anime's like these.
/SPOILER

Any of you watch Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou

I really enjoyed it,it made me smile and laugh:) And I Liked the characters(yes it is not my normal anime taste)

I also enjoyed rideback. It had some sad parts and was very well animated.
