Guild Wars 2

One of the things I liked about the original Guildwars is that level didn't play such a major part in your character - I remember being able to get from level 1 to 20 in the space of a day's play - especially in Factions.

Don't know how much this will apply to Guildwars 2 though, 80 is a bit different from 20 after all.

Lol, beat me to it :)

About the Level 80, I like it the way they are doing the leveling, it shouldnt be too grinding to max a few characters.

Its essentially leveling like in Guild Wars : lvl 20 with skill points unlocked after achieving lvl 20, and the leveling gap is cool.

Checked the video this morning. Then took a few minutes to wipe the drool of my keyboard, desk, and everything around me.

I actually hate ArenaNet right now - how can they show us stuff like this and still make us wait :(

Yes ... the sceptic in me keeps telling me they're biting off more than they can chew. But they sound so confident about it.

seen enough mmos to know that end product is the final judgement. recent example shows this clearly... Mortal Online. however one can have a little more faith in arena/ncsoft :)

If it was NCSoft in charge of this, based on my overall experience with Aion to date, I would say its all empty promises and not even bother. However, NCSoft is happily only the publisher, and my experiences with ArenaNet and their running of Guildwars 1 is an entirely different story.

Which is why I'm willing to tell the inner sceptic to sod off for a while :p

I'm not worried at all. ArenaNet have always delivered on their promises with Guild Wars, so I expect them to do the same with Guild Wars 2.

What I'm stoked about is the gameplay videos that we'll likely be seeing once peeps get their hands on the demo next week!
