1) hammering the link
2) set my existing account's country + some detail
3) back to open beta reg (link at top of account management)
4) get code in mail and add account + code
5) happy dance.

Ive had an account for a while, but no luck on getting a spot

This is why I don't bother with Open Beta's or any Beta's for that matter. Fighting with the queues, slow updating, lag, disconnects and a slew of other issues just so you can play it a little bit more / before some other people. I will wait on release, and even then I won't rush to play because MMO releases have the similar issues. The frustration is just too much for me.
