Because if you don't want to abide by rules and morals, then killing people is acceptable and being "gay" is simply another choice of a person. The same "choice" a person makes when he murders someone for petty belongings.

So what am I saying? That choosing to be gay is as bad as choosing to murder someone? You're damn straight. The moral distortion of both choices are equal. Of course, you will disagree, because people of today will never accept that they're wrong, even though they've completely lost sight of what is right, and what is wrong. As long as you're "happy" with your choices in life...why should others blame you? Funny....that highjacker that just killed your wife thinks about it in the same way.

"Christians" like you are the main reason I do not go to church, Jesus taught tollerance and acceptance of all God's creations, regardless of their chosen sexuality, yet here you are comparing these people, who have done NOTHING to you, to murderers and criminals even having the cheeck to want to stop them from going to church to worship a God they propably have a better connection to than you.

It is ignorance of an astronomical scale on your part to take on the view that you express in that post. You propably think all Muslims have a bomb in their handbag and that all people who dont believe in your chosen deity worship the devil or something.

The reason so many people are leaving the church and becoming Agnostic or Atheists is because the church of an Every Loving, Every Carning, Every Forgiving God do not practice what they preach and cast people of differnt opinions, sexuality even choice in music out. It is thanks to Dogmatic thinking of your kind that the Crusades where fought and countless women where burned in Witch Hunts.

You judge so easily, but how will you be judged when you stand before him and have to give testament to why you acted in this way toward God's creations and even fellow Christians.

If I had the power I would have shut this thread down before it got like this... Religion wars and all that will always have a nasty outcome.

However in my opinion, I have gay friends and I've made it clear and simple, if they so much as try their stuff on me i'll punch their lights out and I left it at that. I have nothing against gay people, just as long as they keep their shlongs to themselves and their perverted tendancies they might be thinking when we the straight people are around, then all is cool. :)

I've had my unlucky share of Gay people hitting on me and WOW I now know what women go through when it comes to okes hitting on them at clubs and stuff and ja its kak!!! and some of the things those people say to you ur like :eek: :missing sick smiley:

But aren't you generlizing byt saying "Their perverted tendancies"? I mean its not all of them and I am pretty sure if you ask a few women they will tell u about straight guyz who have equally perverted tendancies. Some people like Domination or S&M just coz some people like it, its not to say that everybody of that sexuality likes it. Imagine if people called you a womanizer simple because some straight men are womanizers? I just think its a little unfair to judge an entire sexual sub set of people under one banner due to the likes of a few.

Get over yourselves people. If someone is not harming your family, costing you money or destroying your environment then why should you give two craps about what they do and how/where/when they do it?

No no I'm not generalizing and in this case I'm just looking at it from a Straight man's perspective. Ok let me put it to you like this, I went out with my at the time Girlfriend and her two gay mates and ja it sounded like fun going out to club OH!.. and I thought it would be interesting going to a gay club, atleast i had my gf there. JA RIGHT!!! I got there and she partied lekker and got drunk while I got hit on by some of the gay guys and one of them just approached me and asked if I wanted to go back to his place. I literally ran back to my gf for backup and ja I had to leave before I beat someone...

You can never judge somebody, because you will never know everything about a person and what has led him or her to be the person he or she is. Judging is not for me and you. Let's leave that to God rather.

As for gay being a sin or whatever, can someone please actually quote me a verse from the bible stating that homosexuality is a sin? I'm not saying it does or doesn't say so, just want to see it.

Lastly, this thread was not supposed to degenerate into a hate thread. I merely thought it quite interesting that the US military was told to revise the law.
