Is it not supposed to be Tinmans'
No that describes Tinman as many :p where as with the apostrophe being behind the "S", it relates to ownership or describing that he could be doing something obviously putting your sentence into the correct order.

Jeez what is this English 101...??

So like I was saying before hand yes our votes do count when it comes to post count however in the long run Tinman is the one who has the final say...

Syco used the apostrophe correctly.

I stated my case a few pages back, but for those who missed it:

We simply can't make it more difficult to enter competitions than it already is. The less users that enter, the less sponsors will want to get involved in future.

There are a number of local publications that ask for giveaways. In order for MyGaming to secure freebies for you lot, I have to report decent entry figures. The more people that enter, the more free stuff we get - it's that simple.

I do understand why you want an increased post count requirement, but it just ain't gonna happen. This may not be what you want to here, but trust me, it has to be this way to make sure we get a constant stream of free stuff.

Also, consider that other local gaming sites have no entry requirements, which already gives them an advantage when it comes to entry counts. Sponsors give free stuff to whoever will get them the most exposure, and this is monitored by entries - clear and simple. Therefore, making it harder for users to enter would really be shooting ourselves in the foot.

The only alternative would be to give away stuff on the front page, and have no link to the forum at all. Would any of you prefer this? I personally prefer to link it to the forums, because it does give our community an advantage, and it also attracts new users - even if the majority are just competition whores.

I'm only here cos I wanted to win a ps3 some time back, and I spammed to get my 20 count.
now I'm stuck and I still don't have a console, made some friends though. I say test run the next two or three comps on the homepage and see if it works
