Official Call of Duty: Black Ops PC multiplayer thread

Ah snap.. Went to be last night before the fix went live obviously. There was still lag until about 10PM for me.

Question, do servers have to "restart" in order for all the fixes to be applied? The reason I ask is because most people play on whatever SA server have people on it (well, myself at least). If those admins of said servers have not restarted their servers, the lag could still be there.

I am interested about this 8MB patch that was released though, because I don't recall seeing that yesterday at all.
Will have a look later today.
 
By 'lag' are we talking about the FPS ? Played MP, Zombies and SP last night and it was absolutely terrible.

even my theater mode and my leaderboards are working :)
 
Tried to play BO last night, but the lag just won't go away. Did not notice a patch being available for BO via Steam library. Hope they get this sorted soon.

Ja ek het dit oor en oor getoets.

Ek vat n Botmatch op Nuketown, 10 bots. Vol graphics alles opgestel 1920x1200 en dit het randomly gedrop tot in die rooi (rooi is 35fps en onder)

Na die patch, nie een keer onder 40 gegaan nie. Die game voel baie baie smoother, soos cod4 en MW2 :)

Hoe het jy die patch gekry?
 
Maak jou game toe en weer oop. Nou en dan moet jy steam disconnect en weer inlog. Dan sal jy sien hy doen n Blackops patch.
As jy die game try launch sal hy vir jou sê, "completing installation", dan weet jy hy het gerun :)

Dit klink goed. Ek was glad nie happy gisteraand nie.
 
ek het tot so laat gejol.
en toe sien ek hy doen daai complete installation thing maar toe moer hy uit.
toe launch ek die game weer toe moer hy weer uit.

toe besluit ek F dit ek gaan nou slaap.
hoop vanmiddag is dit reg.............
