If it is a stunt it will go down in the annuals of history & DNF will become the stuff of legend.
The 12 year old in me wants to believe its a marketing stunt but the realist in me figures its not.

I was 13 when the first Trailers came out for DNF and that was back in '99... i was also still playing DN3D and Shadow Warrior then lol.... :p but what i would give just to see DNF finished and released... I reckon that should this be released... this is going to be the game of the year seeing as its taken 10yrs to do and the market is going to go nuts for this game :D
 
It'll never live up to the hype. Better to let the down-syndrome-ADD-deaf-mute kid die alone in a dark corner.

That is one of the things that i think killed it, the hype. There was simply too much pressure to blow everybody away. If they aren't really bankrupt and/or closed, if DNF fails they will be.
