To stay on topic, I'd be careful before I decide to buy this game on the PC. Most of the guys on the Gamespot forums are complaining to high water about this game. Most people are saying that it's a VERY POOR console port and that if you have the option, rather get it for the consoles. Apparently this NFS title is still cursed when it comes to PC users.

I'm curious to hear what you guys this of this game on the PC. From what I've read, it's worse than Shift 1.

Ok, Put about 3 hours of gametime in during the weekend. Firstly, no LAN :'( . I wanted to get the feel of the new handling model that they promised, effect they nailed down better than shift 1, is the FrontWheeldrive oversteer when comming in to fast into a corner, and planting it to early. Immediately apparent when I slightly misjudged the first corner of Monza. Shift 1 was a lot more lenient in this department. Have not had a chance to take a RWD or 4WD car for a spin so I can't really go toooooooooooo indepth on the handling. Sound and visuals are no that much different from shift1, apart from them mentioning a new graphics engine and what not. I'll play it some more tonight and try and get hold of a lekker powerful RWD car :D

Helmet cam is cool, but could be utilized a bit more. When you approach an apex or Corner, the driver's head turns slightly in it's direction, but its more of a warning of an approaching blind corner than anything else. Dunno how it is in drifting though.

Cool cool. Fired up Shift 1 last night again to get me in the mood. From what I'm gatherering, 2 isn't really a step up from the original.

Dude eerlikwaar, dit voel meer soos n expansion as soos n hele ander game 2 jaar later tbh.
