Just one question what is the difference in gaming between a i5 2500 and i7 2600 non k versions. Will I be better of getting a better GPU with the money I save from getting the cheaper 2500. Also what is the performance diffirence between the i5 2500 and i5 2300. The more I save on cpu the more i have for gpu.

for a majority of games anything above a quadcore is overkill, I have yet to see a game that recommends a quad even, all still dual.

Well the difference between the 2600k and 2600 is that the 2600k is overclockable. No difference in speeds at stock clocks. You could save some money by going for the 2500k, this cpu is awesome at overclocking. If you dont overclock you could get the 2500 and save another R100 but i would really go for the 2500k. (if i am wrong please tell me) What GPU did you want to get?
