Your best ISP for gaming online???

I have the following accounts:

-Cybersmart Night Rider
-Afrihost free 1GB
-MWEB 5GB (borrowing)
-1GB IS local

And out of them all I get the best ping on the MWEB account in Call of Duty Black Ops, I get roughly a ping of 50 on my 384k line, I get a ping of 100 on Cybersmart, 70 on IS Local and 100 on Afrihost.

^^ because maybe its cause they hosting the servers...

Best Average best pings was on my axxess account.

Openweb
Afrihost
Webafrica

All have the problem sometimes the pings will skyrocket.

I have a WA Titan 3 package. To my knowledge it is unshaped, with 50Gb that I can download in a month all for the low price of R499,00. It is GREAT value for me as WA also have a Steam Server. Hence I don't use my 50Gb, The Steam Server is on their free zone. Never had a days issue with WA. I also do a couple of other downloads during the month.

IMHO, Good value for money

As far as I know WA accounts are shaped (particularly the Titan packages), but they are very gaming friendly with regards to their prioritisation protocols. So you generally don't notice the shaping at all if you play during the day. And they're happy to help you out if you do notice lag during the day.

Ive played WoW raids on WA 1gig unshaped accounts , what a joy !
Right now im on iburst , i usualy play League Of Legends and the latency is just fine.
WoW on iBurst is also ok but in raids I tend to lag alot.

I am w/ Telkom, ie SAIX. I have an 8Mb/s line which really helps w/ latency or if someone else decides to watch a youtube vid while I'm playing online. Not too good for local, due to the peering, but great for intl. I play WoW on EU servers, and get a ping of ~300 ms. But you will pay for it. Current;y have 18GBs worth of data, which costs R1100 excl the phone calls etc. Good for international, maybe not so good for local.
