Mortal Kombat 9: My Thoughts

I am loving this game!!! Bought it on Monday, and I have played it every day for at least an hour(which is a lot for me).

Waiting for the Playstation Network to be live again so I can access the online functions...

But I have to say, I love every aspect of the game... the 2d fighting plane, the combos and special moves and xray, fatalities, the large amount of stage fatalities, story mode, tower, versus, tag, everything....

I was one of those kids who lined up my tokens on the MK2 machine in N1 City when it was released, played a few more MKs since then, but I have to say MK9 feels like MK2 again, but modern...

Now I just want one of these:

You have two options:

1. Create a dummy UK/US account and redeem it from there (All users on that Xbox will have access to the redeemed code)
2. Wait until one day they decide to put MK 9 on the SA marketplace (Don't hold your breath)

I used (1.) for my UFC code and Borderlands codes. Both games are still not on the SA martketplace.

Hmm, Its a xbox avatar isn't it? It should be in my dress up section but its not. The scorpion outfit is.

Anyway, I am stuck on scorpion and that pale faced mofo tag team, I can't kill them :(

And that is not very hard dude:p
 
I haven't beaten Shao Khan once yet and I'm stuck on the challenge ladder. And Cyrax and Sektor REALLY bliksemed me :p (In a fun way though)
 
Finally got mine! Pity I've had very little time to play but the hour or so was quite enjoyable! Will work great for a weekend with buds :D
 
I managed to get my copy a week early at BT and am still enjoying the hell out of it. I think its pretty nice that there is so much to do in this game, has good replay value. Watch out for the creepy guy in the krypt, he jumped out on my screen the other day and scared every hair on my body straight up...

Got my kollectors kopy yesterday :) Traded it for MGS4 lol. All codes unused and extra reptile code as well. The statue is meh, but like the metal casing and art booklet.
 
Holy crap, finished the last battle this weekend.... Oh My God.... me and couple friends took turns.... I have no idea how many times we tried it, but it was bucket load of times. So damn hard.

Also took me a while. About on my 20th try I had him with basically no health left on the third round, and he blocked my kick and proceeded to do his x-ray move. 52% damage! I nearly cried. Managed to beat him a whole couple of rounds later though.
 
Hahaha, yeah, sitting with the same problems.... I must have retried about 40 times on Saturday. I just watched a youtube clip on how to beat him (lol), and will try again tonight :)
