Now now, lads ... play nice
Frankly, I hate Kuga's tactics as much as Tsar does, and Kuga may possibly consider Tsar to be a loser etc etc - frankly it doesn't matter. We all have our own points of view as far as this entire topic is concerned.
Problem is, Tsar, Kuga's MO, reprehensible as it may seem to us, actually does work; I've read some of the books and articles he mentioned as a matter of interest, and a lot of what says in there actually makes sense. From the player's point of view anyways, the majority of girls will respond to those tactics in the way intended. It plays on those self-perceived insecurities even the most confident and beautiful girls carry around with them - it's all mind games, but sadly it works.
I blame modern living, and to a large degree the feminist movement. Not the more mainstream and moderate part that seeks to empower women, but the more rabid and extreme version that seeks to disempower men. And frankly, it's the latter version which has been most effective - resulting in men becoming emasculated pansies that live for female approval. Sweeping generalisation it may be, but men have become weak.
So while the girls say they're looking for the nice guys, sub-consciously they're still reacting to those guys who radiate confidence and power, if you will. This is the area where the players win - because that is what those books also teach. Because your average nice guy seems to be living to gain the girls approval by pandering to them and being subservient (you may not see it that way, and maybe the girls don't see it that way either - but the sub-conscious wins out again) - so your status of alpha-male walks out the door, taking your balls with it.
It's a quandary for us, because we can never figure out what woman want.
So - to Tsar - I want to point you in the direction of a blog called
The Art of Manliness - it very much advocates a return to the man of yore - the man's man, if you will, being a man that the girls see as a man without needing to be a dick about it. It's got some really winning articles - examples like:
1. How to propose to a girl (even an article on how to ask her dad for permission, which probably no-one does anymore)
2. How to punch like a man
3. Stop hanging out with girls and start dating them (very relevant these days, because a lot of us fall into the best-friend trap)
4. How to dress sharp and make good impressions first off
5. How to jump from rooftop to rooftop
6. Survival in different situations, how to deliver a baby, caring for your pregnant wife - the list goes on.
Some of the articles seem really superficial, but they are all excellent reads. Some of it won't apply to us, it's a US blog after all, but it's a staunch advocate of those old values that men had without making you believe the woman belongs in the kitchen.
To Kuga, and MrG - if you find those tactics work for you, then all the best. Personally, I believe its the wrong way to go about things, and I feel that it'll come back to bite you in the ass at some point in the future - maybe. Or maybe not. At the same time - coming to the forum and bragging about your conquests is a little - well, disrespectful. It would be like me going to a religious forum and laughing at them because I think God doesn't exist.
We all have our beliefs and opinions; where they represent the potential for aggressive clashes, it's probably best to avoid airing them in public.
