Duke Nukem Forever has finally gone gold

Hopefully they didnt give out too much of the story line in their never ending lineup of video previews, cos that would be like a bad movie trailer, you know that feeling you get when you're 20mins through a movie and you realize you already saw the plot outcome in a trailer, ya im looking at u duke.
 
I agree with Tank, I may have waited almost half my life for this game, but I'm not going to be unrealistic about it and expect it to include a free hooker mode where your pc sucks your dick and by pressing Ctrl + Alt + Del you initiate a Nuke Button where you access a mini game, where you control Real Life Nuclear Warheads and get to bomb whatever you want.

Nor am I thinking the game will win game of the year or be the most awesome thing you've ever seen. Like in another 14 years when the next Duke is is overdue to be released and you think back to this release of Duke, your eyes won't start to shed tears of manly blood at the shear awesomeness it was.

NO! I expect a childish game, with loads of toilet humour, a few new Duke Nukem catchphrases and I can't wait for the Shrink Ray and the Devastator!!!
 
Im also not expecting much in terms of epic story line & in-depth twist & turns.
Just some good graphics with loads of trashy, mindless fun while "kicking ass and chewing bubblegum" !

Thats a bit harsh isn't it? It did swop developers, so you can expect things not to work entirely soundly. Even GT5 had issues and in was in development for ages.

By back in the day, I think of playing Duke Nukem 1 & 2 which looked a lot like BioMenace, Commander Keen and Monster Bash:

Tinny not sure if you are reading this thread but how do we get our codes for the demo, since I ordered from the Mygaming shop :)?
 
Since duke3D I could do the basic strafing. Most "kids" grow up with using WASD + Mouse, lol back in the day it was normally just the keyboard and my god could we play decent with just that :D
 
brings back memories :) DN 3D is a classic ! I cant wait to play their latest title and fly in that jetpack..
 
Duke Nukem Forever has big boots to fill. Previous Duke Nukem gamers are expecting a lot from this title that was so long in development. Hope it does not disapoint. ;)
