I think they are back to the manga storyline now although I haven't watched in ages, just been reading the manga instead.
after ichigos battle they on fillers.. still on fillers afaik. not watching
manga is cool this week..

I've watched a couple of Japanese live-action dramas - Hana Kimi being one - wasn't an anime but it was a manga, and it was pretty entertaining. Beyond that, Hell Girl's and Great Teacher Onizuka's Live Action's I've watched as well.
Haven't really gotten around to any Live Action movies yet - those based on anime anyways - but I've seen a couple of Japanese movies, and what I've seen so far I've generally enjoyed. The comedies in particular, which focus more on genuine humour and not the slapstick crap that comes out of Hollywood all the time.

It's on my to-watch list - I'm really pissed that Crunchyroll doesn't have it available in SA - so I'll have to download it. I generally wait for the series to finish before downloading though. Busy following Astarotte no Omocha at the moment though.
