when the 1.2 patch says that it includes all the dlc's does this mean that regardless of what version/pre order things you may have gotten you now have access to everything? or will the dlc still require activation to work, but is just already downloaded ?

All of it is activated. Yay for having the CE jacket be available to everyone!

ah ok thanks, I'm happy then seeing as I now get to try out all the gear that was formally unavailable to my standard version.
on a mostly unrelated note, stuff is blinking expensive in game and now that I've completed the endrega contract I need more endrega's so I can make a new sword (yes I'm still in chapter/act 1)

Seldom I found I needed to upgrade and generally had a large sum of gold more often than not. Those Runes are the killer, just do not go overboard with them since you will outgrow pretty much everything and it is a waste. Just put 'em in as you find them I say.

Hehe, was reading people having issues with the Druag(sic). Initially I had issues (mainly got sick of the run-up to the fight), then I got lucky or something. Got behind the beast in the first few seconds of the fight, then just did strong attacks and it went down without a fight. I am Magic focus so it was not that I even hit that hard. Seems so much in this game can be luck, which is kinda sucky, but hell, still an amazing game!

yea runes are expensive, so much so that I haven't even bothered with them yet, but so far most of my money went on getting the kayran skin armour. The armour itself is not so bad but the mats drained my gold :(

lol! I know!

When I saw it I was like, "Ooooh crap, this is NOT going to be easy..."

About 2 minutes later it was dead and I was like, "That... was it?"

Now, the Kayran took a few tries before I got the hang of the damn quicktime event (scared me when that popped up... I was like, "Wtf! Is that left-click or right-click?! ARRRGH!"

*cough*

Lol, so does anyone know when I can begin the sneaking part of my problem :p?
I don't need to now where to go once in the camp, I just need to know where to start :).

The Kayran whipped my ass, man. I took quite a while with that thing. I was trying to start from the left, and the from the right but eventually I figured it's easier to start cutting off it's tentacles from the right and then go left so you can get behind up that bridge after the quick-time event. Was quite a battle :D

The Witcher 2 is a great game. (I enjoyed the first one too.) Is it only me, or is the QTE's in TW2 a bit of a disappointment. It is not game breaking or anything, but I preferred the fist fighting in the first one where you could dodge and hit in your own time. Still, TW2 is a excellent game.

hehe... Yeah, it was awesome :D

I actually preferred the QTEs for fist-fighting than the old way. The old way was always so... "Do I click now?" :p

Urgh, I still have not completed the game. I just don't feel like playing it while it runs so rubbish on my computer. :(

As for the QTEs, I have to admit, I don't like them either. I basically just steamrolled through all the fistfights.

I just got it! playing through the prologue at the moment. Kinda feels like Witcher meet Assassin's creed! havent had enough time to really get into it yet...but tbh haven't been blown away yet! :-D

Do you guys also have this problem:

Every now and again when I do a quicksave (F5), the game exit's and drops me back into my desktop screen.

Yeah had that as well the patch should have sort it out, but it seems a few people like you still got this problem.

Thanks Crzwaco. Hope the devs sort something out in the next patch for all the people that still has this problem with version 1.2. (if there's a next patch)
