I love steam, have not had one problem with it except that the process doesn't close sometimes but that is not really a problem.
Origin just has no purpose except for BF3.

What I don't understand is why I need a client at all... What is wrong with my operating system? Did I not buy it as a platform to launch files? Ffs.
I kinda like Steam. The thought of having to install all of those games separately, then downloading and keeping them up-to-date separately simply does not appeal. What I don't understand is why I need a client at all... Just windows live, it's such a fail compared to xbox live.
It's not meant to run on a 386sx btw![]()
How's the browser launcher working out? I didn't like the idea at all when I first heard of it, but I'm interested to hear how it's going. I'm guessing it means you won't be able to play BF3 without an internet connection on release.

That's one of the reasons I support GoG for my retro needsWell if they want me to keep buying steamworks games, they should fix that. Otherwise, Bittorrent will remain the best game manager ever. All the games are free and I can do whatever the hell I want after I've installed it.
Steam can go die in a fire. It works most of the time, but is most aggravating when it doesn't work.
4.Games for windows live: The worst of the worse, cause me to lose my batman and streetfighter saves when reformatting. Wouldn't use it if I had a choice.
