Maybe DICE needs a BETA entrance test/exam for people that cannot distinguish the difference.
agreed, those with valued input who look past the fact that it is a beta, those of us who were playing knew the real reason was for testing, after a few days of testing i could already see DICE making subtle adjustments to the game here and there by Saturday caspian border was running so nicely in iGAME and such

Yeh but a lot of people are being dick about it. I agree on the closed beta thing, but i still think it is going to be a great game and many people will still buy it.I for one am glad they did release the beta. Had a lot of fun despite the glitches and I'm more excited for release now.

Another view point should be the developer(publishers mostly) should not use a beta as a marketing gimmick and then expect people not to moan.
Yeh, so they have to weigh up the benefit of receiving good feedback and hearing a whole bunch of people complain about it and possibly lose sales,I also think that DICE should have made the Beta closed but then again I had a week and a half of excellent fun testing out Operation Metro and Caspian Border.
The main reason why DICE made this Beta open was actually not to test the game itself (Since the code was already outdated) but to test the back-end of the game i.e. how Battlelog copes with traffic and how the servers handle the game. This was a bold move but despite the negative feedback they got I think it was necessary as many problems were with the servers and not the game. For example the 1st few hours after Caspian was released again over the last weekend of the Beta it was nearly unplayable due to server lag.
Can't wait for the 28th and I hope to see you all on BF3
