Finally after 8 days, 22Gb and lots of swearing and negative vibes I maneged to get the patch.

Solved my Packet loss kick by PunkBuster by setting the priority of PnkBstrB.exe to High, have to do it every map, it doesn't make sense, but at least I can play again.

Really enjoy the new(old) maps, they are familiar yet strange due the the new buildings. Quickly fell into my Bf2 routes.

Did not really notice a big difference in the my gameplay since the new patch, although the vehicles feel like they are sliding a bit? Might just be my connection.

Had a few nice games last night:) figured out a nice way to get the upper hand on a one on one tank battle:D

The game did crash once after a completed game:( that ended my night
 
The tracked vehicles does slide a lot on slippery, banked surfaces such as grass. Try to gun the Tangusta up that hill in Caspian became a bit more difficult.

F$%%k Steam and Origin. It’s the biggest load of bull there is. What happened to buying your game, installing it quickly and then enjoying endless hours of fun without installing a bunch of spyware monitoring your pc and even your sperm count daily?

Seriously wtf. I urge everyone not to forget where we come from, the good old days.

The only bad thing is I like BF3 and having a history with BF & BC I just could not pass it over, even thou I despise Origin!
I don't make use of Steam as I was never forced to it cause of a game I just had to play...

Thing is, I don't want to walk around with 10kgs of gaming discs, and run the risk of having one of them damaged. Which has happened WAY too often for me to recount; and if a single disc of your game gets slightly scratched, you lose the entire game. Forever.
While with Steam, you get a way to LEGALLY have all of your games wherever you go, offline mode means you don't even need internet to play the ones you do have installed. And wherever you have a good internet connection, you get to download all the games you've ever owned. No hassles, no patches, no cracks, no worries about activation and CD keys, just download and play. If bandwidth is a problem, get a copy of the game files from a friend, copy/paste and verify the files... and play the game LEGALLY.

Steam really has made my life easier. On top of which, the specials on Steam are often even cheaper than buying the game bargain bin.

You might want to try explain what type of crashing,what quality settings your playing it on and what your Hardware specs are.

I had a ton of problems but i managed to sort a few out.the only problem i'm now having is the problem that everyone is having where the game Disconnects from EA online.
 
Everything's on set to the lowest (otherwise the game will run @ 5fps :(). It crashes at the LOADING screen, right after saving, before the new map's (in rotation) loading. It just keeps showing LOADING, and goes no further...
 
Wow, while theres a lot of lag since there is SO much destruction and just massive amounts of armour and jets n the likes....the expansion is so high tempo - so intense - that it takes me back to BF2, this epic experience is the reason I bought BF3, the expansion feels like BF3 is now finally the sequel to BF2. . . was a little meh before. . .
 
Think it is right time for me to pilage someone's updates folder... haven't played for too long and am hating on those of you who can :p

I also had that before,it kinda fixed itself over time.


I'm wondering if i should take my 560ti GPU back to EveTech and ask them to do a stress test because the display drivers keep crashing after 10 minutes.Nvidea seems to think it's the drivers vault and not the card.
