What makes a good BF3 TEAM player?

Wanneer is iemand n bad teamie? n Sniper. 99% dink jy wen die oorlog van agter af. So min wat spot en die aksie join. Dis waarom as ek snipe my kdr lelik is want ek in rambo sniper (ja ek is n patetiese sniper...)

What also separates teams from each other is communication. And I'm not taking about typing messages like, left side or two guys at bomb. That is unfortunately useless info 90% of the time.

Bf3 players need to learn to use battlelogs VOIP. Or teamspeak.being able to tell your squad there are guys at A or a tank covering C our claymores down this corridor us invaluable.

thats only good when its working on my pc:mad:

here's a few things I learned about being a good team player.

1. Don't run ahead of your team.
2. Don't run in front of you team mates line of fire. (esp bad when friendly fires on but then you where just asking for that.)
3. Don't shoot, flashbang or in any way kill your teammate.
4. If you all being sneaky don't be the toss who fires off a whole clip of ammo just for kicks.
5. If your team mate crawling don't jump up and down next fire a few round off throw a grenade under him and then run off.
6. When under fire don't run away and leave your team to die.
6b. especially if you the medic.
7. If you the medic heal people don't run off on you own.those medikits aren't for you.
8. Wait for others to get in the vehicle with you.
9. Know how to drive the damn thing.
10. Don't kamakazie your vehicle especially if you waited for your team mates to hop in.
11. Don't kamakazie your plane in to your own team.
12. Don't abandon your vehicle in mid flight and not tell anybody.
Finally! Don't trap people in corners :D (Google how to annoy people in black ops.) :D

I'm going to assume that you have been a victim of very crappy squad/team mates:D. Good advice nonetheless

i know you mean well, but please PLEASE don't revive a team mate in the middle of the street after you saying you are being fired at, that's an instant rage by the other guy, i know you can decline the revive but that hardly ever happens. Rather clear the area first, and yes maybe you won't make it in time but at least you won't get raged at.

Actually, I gotta disagree with that!

If you revive someone, there's 2 possible things that could happen.

They can get up, and get away. They can die again, without losing anything. Thereafter, they can be revived again and again until they can get away. Many times I get revived 3 times in a row before being able to get away. If I don't- no loss whatsoever. Reviving okes everywhere is good for the team. I say keep at it.

What makes a good team player.

Assault - You are the main advancing force. You are also the medic. If your teammates have to even ask for health, you're doing it wrong. When you take an M320 instead of a health pack, you are doing it VERY wrong. Your job is to advance, take out infantry and keep your team alive. Clear the area before reviving. If it's an intense firefight, keep reviving your teammates and stay alive.

Engineer - Engineers are mainly to destroy enemy vehicles and maintain friendly vehicles. Don't try and be an assault soldier. Do your job. Crew a player in a tank, repair him when he's fired at. Maintain his tank with your life. His tank is your life. Engineers can also make a patch for other teammates to enter through a wall, for instance. If you rocket spam infantry- you're doing it wrong. Your job is to crew vehicles and back up the main assault force. Don't go running after all the vehicles on the map. Choose a team-mate and stick with him through the entire game.

Support - This is a very important role and is critical to the success of the assault force and the engineers. Without ammo, the soldiers can't kill, and without rockets, the engineers cannot keep them safe. If you happen upon a tbattle somewhere, drop some ammo for the guys fighting. If they have to run after you for the entire map, you are doing it so, so wrong. Support soldiers also supress the enemy. Supression is vital in this game- it causes the enemy to be unable to return fire as accurately as the team doing the supression and it opens a way to flank the enemy. Support soldiers can lay an ambush and wipe an entire enemy squad with C4 when placed in strategic spots. They can also ambush enemy vehicles by laying C4 on the road, or booby trap vacant vechicles.

Recon - It's called Recon for a reason. Your job is to recon ahead of your main assault force, spotting any enemy activity in the area. You can also cover your team-mates' backs and call out when enemy soldiers try to flank them. Use the mobile spawn beacons at a nearby occupied flag or MCOM so that your team can mobilize quicker. Spawn beacons are sooo useful in this game. Use the MAV to recon an area for enemy from a safe distance without comprimising your squads position or plan of attack. SOFLAM is another important tool. Use it to laser designate enemy vehicles. Vehicles that are laser designated take more damage from Javelins and Guided Rockets. Not only that, but it locks on quicker and makes a quick work of tanks. Laser designated targets also cannot flare or jam after the lock is acquired and fired.

Just some general stuff- When you see a teammate(s) cover an area, don't go sit right by them or block their line of fire. Rather watch the back or opposite side for flanking enemies. Move in together. Use smoke and mortars in an advance. If you capture a flag, don't run off to the next one like a crazy person, just stay there and defend, or split your squad up. One half defends, the other attacks a nearby flag. Protect an area rather than running off, because in order to bleed tickets from the enemy team, you need to hold the flag for a while before it even has a purpose.

Most of all though, use your common sense. This isn't a run and gun game. Know your surroundings, be aware of what's going on at all points of the battlefield and be cautious. Help your teammates where you can because it's the least you can do. Spawn as the class that is needed the most in a specific situation. If your team is being romped by a tank, spawn as an engineer with a few other guys and take it out.

That's pretty much all I can think of at the moment.
