This is what is commonly referred to as post-padding (or spam) since it is a pointless post that doesn't contribute to the thread and is very plainly meant to just get your post count up so you qualify for comps. And then nasty bastards like me come along and disqualify you because ... y'know ... spam.

I was thinking the exact same thing after seeing him necro that old thread that welcomed James to the forums.

Is it just me, or does the navigation suddenly look really horrible? I checked on 2 different machines on 2 different connections with 2 different browsers ....

If it was an intentional change, change it back please :cry:

It would be nice, but it's not a standard vBulletin feature. We don't use plugins as they have the fantastic tendency to break everything, and vBulletin does not support your forum if there are 3rd-party plugins installed.

It helps you keep track of whos talking to you, rather than searching through a thread.
