So here's the deal, both got released today. It's still a 128bit architecture, which isn't that nice. I thought we'd be making 256bit our standard memory bandwith and not 128bit. Still, there are some nice surprises to the overclocked Sapphire edition. In some cases it out performs a ATI Radeon HD 6850. Which is pretty decent.
And it leaves the Nvida GT 550TI (?) lagging behind.
Here's the Sapphire's review: http://hexus.net/tech/reviews/graphics/35221-sapphire-radeon-hd-7770-oc/
Here's the stock (Powercolor model)7770's review: http://hexus.net/tech/reviews/graphics/35233-powercolor-radeon-hd-7770-amd-radeon-hd-7750/
Something to keep in mind is that this card has a really nice chip in it, and with better drivers I'm sure you'll get a boost in performance. And there might even be better OC versions coming out soon, XFX anyone?
Thoughts?
