Mass Effect 3 Thread

Ye nice read, one thing that always puts me off reputation systems is that is often reduces choice because they typically always incentivises going completely in one direction or the other.

Yeah, WantItAll is pretty expensive, but all of their stuff are imports, so the prices are somewhat justified. Also, they often have stock of things you can't get anywhere else.

Also, for whomever is concerned with things like this, it might be best to stay away from the mainstream international gaming forums. There's apparently a leaked pirate version and spoilers will probably be pretty abundant this week.
 
Just finished ME2 on Insanity and got the No One Left Behind Achievement, finished Arrival & Shadow Broker DLC. One Achievement short of 100%

Ha ha ja that is pretty insane hey, don't care if it's imported that's a rip off any day of the week.

Personal opinions, is the collector's edition worth the extra $? Sounds pretty damn nice though doesn't it.

I've been trying not to get too excited about the game but it's like some hamster got on it's wheel this morning. And this weekend I'm going to ramfest so first play will only be on Sunday.

Not really. Check imports on TakeAlot, they cost pretty much the same. They can hardly charge less for it when they have to pay for international shipping fees as well as any applicable customs fees. For all we know, that's a bargain as far as imports goes.

Complaining because an imported product is expensive is asinine.

Dude I wasn't complaining merely highlighting the fact that a company is advertising a product that is readily available at 3 times the srp. I honestly don't give a rats ass if it's imported, still craziness having that advertised.

And what's with the vehement defending of wantitall? Take a chill pill bru
 
You're still missing the point. Do you want them to stop advertising everything on their site simply because most of their stuff costs two or three times what it costs elsewhere?

It's not so much that I'm defending WantItAll as that I'm attacking your apparent flawed logic.

No, you're claiming they shouldn't advertise their ME3 import because it's double what you pay elsewhere. That's pretty flawed logic, considering that everything on their site costs double or triple what you pay elsewhere.

My only claim was that it's insanity, and I'm pretty sure I'm still allowed to give an opinion, as far as I know the ANC.has not released a bill preventing this.

So chill out, take a deep breath and let's get back to the actual forum topic.

You're entitled to your opinion just as much as I'm entitled to my opinion of your opinion. There's nothing insane about a high price on imported wares. It would be insane for a customer to buy it if there are cheaper alternatives, but WantItAll aren't being insane by charging that price.

Also, nobody needs to chill out, because as far as I can tell, nobody is worked up. We're just having a discussion.
 
Complaining about WantItAll prices is like complaining you got wet after going for a swim. WIA has its uses, yes buy stuff that is readily available in SA is not one of them, but there are plenty of things that are either difficult to get here or just plain unavailable. Before Takealot started their Amazon import service I got myself a pretty sweet PSP case from them, something that was 10x better than the crap you could get here.
 
Okay cool I get where you're coming from. My initial reason for posting the link was just to point out the insane price, nevermind that it is imported.

Anyway I can't wait for Friday, or Sunday for that matter. Game is looking amazing and even though it's sad that the trilogy is coming to an end, I'm whetting my lips in anticipation of this finale.

Who's getting N7 collector's edition?

I've got mine pre-ordered, it's the first time I'm using this retailer so I hope all goes well. :/
