Doesn't it bother you that all of it is digital? You also miss out on the N7 patch (although how useful that will be is questionable).

I already have a spot picked out on my Bag for it. And Im seriously consider getting a frame for the Normandy Lithograph & the art book gets added to my artbook collect right next to ME2's one.

I like digital. I hardly ever use the physical goodies more then once.

Been screwed way too many times by shipping delays. No such issue with digital.

According to Raptr I spent 27 hours playing Mass Effect 2 this weekend.

I finished it in one week, including all the DLC's when I got it for PS3 last month! Addictive and absorbing game that. :)

Understandable, I just like feeling like my money was well spent and digital items just don't justify a premium for me.

I've got mine pre-ordered, it's the first time I'm using this retailer so I hope all goes well. :/

What retailer you using Isengard? Only loot seems to have stock left of the PC version... Well that was last night, haven't checked today.

I ordered it from Incredible connections online store, they were the only ones that had stock. This is my first online purchase from them.

Thing I love about Europe, there is always another reliable retailer if one falls flat. When GAME's pre-orders fell through I pre-ordered at Play.com, ShopTo.net, HMV and when Amazon came through I cancelled the others and will be getting it From Amazon for the bargain price of £55 & free delivery.

Ja it really is like being on a whole different planet. Absolutely loved play.com, and this was years ago when online shopping was still something of a novelty, or at least it was in South Africa.

Wow, so it looks like SA has the UK beat on pricing. The Kalahari equivalent pricing would equate to £50.

The thing that sucks about Europe, Euro prices :p Then again I make about £320 (3,835.85 ZAR) per week and even with my Monthly study fees, phone bills and food we manage pretty well. So that £55 is pocket change. Its retail is about £70 so yeah.

Play.com has gone backwards, they use to be free 1-day delivery but they couldn't maintain it and their Amazon beats them on almost all their prices. Plus Im a Amazon prime Customer (£50 a year) which means I get free express 1 day delivery guaranteed on all purchases.

Screw that, male Shep is hawt.

But FemShep is Hawt and Bad Ass.

I just couldn't take FemShep seriously in that dress. Yes she looked hot but she still walked like a Soldier.

Game is awesome so far. Played a bit yesterday, had to try a few different vpn's till I found one that worked but all is good in the end.

Was able to import my saves no issue. Won't see much more since I don't want to spoil it for anyone.

I knew it would be, ever since playing the Demo at Eurogamer Expo last year. Thought of it failing never even entered my mind.

May I also just say....

And thanks for not Spoiling it.

Hmm, I see we have to download the From Ashes DLC as it's not included on the disc (idiot move, EA). Doing this on Friday will set me back about 4 or 5 hours before I can play.

Now here's the thing, the DLC is available to download off pirate sites. If I torrent it, can I simply copy the content into the ME3 folder after install and have Origin detect that it is installed and doesn't need to be downloaded?

I know Steam can do this, due to the fact that Steam checks that your files match the files on their servers to determine whether it must download anything, but I have no idea how Origin works and I'd really prefer not to sit there twiddling my thumbs in agony while I wait for Origin to finish the download.

I might actually try that. Otherwise it's a two hour download that I'll have to wait for and that will be torture...

Its only 650Mb, why will it take so long?

Also why is the DLC not being on the disc bad, its DLC (Downloadable Content) not ODC (On Disc Content). With Mass Effect 2 everybody moaned that the DLC from the Cerberus Network was on disc now they complain because its not on the disk :wtf:

I know people are tired of hearing this but 650Mb takes about 10-20 Minutes in the US or Europe to download so while it may be an inconvenience to people with shitty internet the majority of the world doesn't see this as a bad thing, also they are too busy moaning about the fact that there is Day One DLC.
