Going to start playing now. Seems torrenting the DLC worked as it says I don't have to update anything and it didn't download anything either.
 
Wow. Without giving anything away, amazing intro. It was actually quite moving. I might have cried a little. :p

New revamped combat is also really good.

Hopefully Takealot doesn't fail more than it already has today. First I get a notification that the order was sent out for delivery this morning via CourierIT(wtf??? instead of MrD) and that I will have it on Monday. I'm like, "wtf? I pre-ordered for a reason".
 
Give them a call and complain about and tell them they'd better ensure it arrives today. They'll make a plan. Happened to a friend of mine with BF3 and they made sure he got it on release day.

Already did, so now they've informed me that they've cancelled the previous delivery and sent out another one. So I ask: "With which courier?". "CourierIT, but priority, so you should get it today". I mean, seriously. WTF. Just send it out with MrD. That's why you lot bought a controlling share in the company to begin with FFS.

Can't track either of the order numbers on the CourierIT site though, cause it's delayed as hell and will only reflect the next working day.

Needless to say, I don't have a lot of faith in CourierIT delivering on time.
 
It seems like Speed Services screwed up my order... my package is nowhere to be found. Loot are busy working the details out with them to try and find out what happened. Luckily I have a backup plan (my friend who bought his from BT Games), otherwise I'd be REALLY pissed.
Anyway, I'm busy installing now... or at least trying for the last half hour. Still just busy with the bloody Origin Update after installing it. Why can't they at least distribute the whole installation with the game or at least have mirrors to download updates from. The download is only 40mb, but their servers are slow as hell.
Just another 2minutes remaining... then I can start installing ME3.
 
Finally... Almost finished with installation.

They said ME3 would require Origin. I knew I didn't want it and that I hated it but I really didn't know why exactly until just now. What a piece of crap.

Anyway, after over an hour... ME3 is now installed.
Here goes.

My download finished in less than 15 minutes. The update is only the Argus rifle DLC. The 'From Ashes' DLC is apparently included on the disk for the CE.

Did you get your order sorted out? I also used Speed Services and my parcel is nowhere to be found. A guy at Speed Services said it is probably in transit. Don't they scan it into the system before they dispatch it or what?
