Shrike.First off.No condescension. If you did pick it up, it was directed at the person commenting about the elite skills few posts above mine.
My post was confusing, should have made that clear.
Point I would like to make.In a game like GW and GW2 betas help a lot more than in other games.Let me explain.Take Call of Duty or Battlefield or any other game of the same formula, they have a beta test, work like mad men to get a day 1 patch out.And after that you only get patches at intervals.Fixing bugs etc. With GW this updating is always life, like file cloud.See a problem, fix it and roll it out.You are busy adventuring in a dungeon and wouldn't even notice something changing in a town or getting fixed.
Yes you get patches from time to time that require a restart, but I would prefer those to these 4gb patches we have every day. With A-net's system the updates are already streaming live, even the beta is streaming constantly. And the nice part about doing it properly like they are.Unlike other devs who hold open betas the month before the game releases, A-net is doing it far ahead of time, giving them time to fix things. No release date yet, meaning no items have been shipped, no copies produced.
Like I said before. No need to worry.
And the LFG thingy, doubt it will be much of a hassle.A-net wants you in groups, from what I have seen then encourage it more than the solo play by far, even if you are not in a group you are still fighting with other people in a group.Confusing but I like it.Feels more alive somehow.
