Dunno wtf is going on with my Chrome and videos ........ anything YouTube has a green strip across the top and shitty colours. Other browsers it's fine and any video on my PC is fine too :confused:

Edit: it's not just YouTube, any streaming is affected.

Never to early for beer my friend.

Download done, played for about 2 hours last night. . . . one word. . . . . . EPIC.

They have done a awesome job. They have completely captured the D2 feeling in it, it feels like I went back to my D2 days, but with awesome GFX and enhanced game play.

If I have to make one criticism though, I wasn't mad about the chars I rolled. I started out with a Witch Doctor. He is cool, but I dunno something about the combat and his spells didn't excite me like I thought it would. So I rolled a Wizard thinking it would be exciting like the Necromancer was in D2. Alas, also did nothing for me. His 1 spell is just retarded, ice blast or something, its like a lazer beam of ice that you can activate to damage enemies. Was really dumb IMO.


BUT I am well aware this is the BETA after all and I have no doubt in my mind that the release will be EPIC! I can see I am going to waste so many hours on this game. All I can say from the 2 hours I played that is has been worth the wait.

Sounds promising. I think the spell casters will only get into their own at slightly higher level. Im rolling a barbarian first. We gonna jam this co-op from word go?

How was your lag? Did you check your latency? Im not really bothered as over the weekend we had me playing The Old Republic and Heidi on the internet & watching Netflix on the PS3 and with the exception of a few spikes my Latency remained steady at about 42ms.

Very promising. I am already craving some mooooooooooore! I am going to try out every char in the beta so I choose wisely for the release.

Lag was non existent, didn't even check my latency. Only issue I had was my fksing line dropping, but that is a web africa / telkom issue.

Still having line issues? That blows dude. Yeah checking out each Char in the Beta is a good idea. Im curious about the new Skills system, redistributing skill points at will sounds intresting.

Yeah still, starting to seriously fuck me off. It seems a lot of Web Africa clients are having issues, I have sent them a request to check it out, I am sure they will sort it out for me.

I am either going to go Witch Doctor or Demon Hunter. The skills system looked ok, wasnt crazy about how they stack skills, but I still need to figure the system out.
 
Grim, give the monk a go. Felt totally OP, but loads of fun. I do like the wizard still, saving that for the the game tho.

Grim did you feel that the normal mode was too easy?

I have just been checking out the other classes and I really like the look of some of the other Witch Doctors spells. The Demon Hunter also looks awesome. I must say the Monk didn't look that exciting. Only thing I hate about the wizard is the way disintegrate and the frost looks like a lazer beam. This is Diablo not star craft :p

Normal mode is pathetically easy. I am sure thought they will balance that on the release.
 
I am hoping that they do cos I played it with all except the witch docter and the barbarian - no deaths . . . . I do love the look and the feel of the game tho. Its going to be awesome!

Yeah I can't imagine they would make the game that easy. Otherwise you going to just have to play it on nightmare :D

If you go Witch Doctor, we get Murph to go Demon Hunter and I'll go barbarian then we have a pretty well rounded Party. :p
