Witcher 2 Enhanced Patch... Who started downloading ?

Thats big. :/

Going to have to buy it on steam I can't just download 10 gigs.

I'm basically done with the Enhanced Edition update, but I have about 400mb left for the Polish voice overs. Don't even know if I'm going to play the EE on PC (getting the Dark Edition on X360), but I want my PC version to be up to date.

I'm on leave in KZN for the week... but I started that baby up before I left. Hope there are no disconnects or anything. Will remote desktop to my pc later to check that it is still going smoothly.

My EE patch finished on saturday. Can't wait to give it a spin.... It's going to be wither 2 next. Screw ME3, I'll wait till they done pimping the poor child.

Remote connected to my home pc and downloading is done. Everything downloaded are just .bin files though... any idea what to do with it?

I finished downloading today. I had to cancel multiple times midway, but it seemed to continue from the last file it was downloading. Just finished ME3, ready to start this for a 3rd time tomorrow!

Guy N'wah:

I want to see mine completed and working before I say this is the correct step-by-step. But so far, this seems to work:

If you get the error on pack0.dzip, select "Abort". Don't "Ignore"; you'll waste your time and get a broken game.

Get the correct Part 2 file (TWEE_Patch-2.bin) from this page: http://en.thewitcher.com/ee_manual/ Place it in the same folder as all the other parts, overwriting the old incorrect Part 2 file.

If after you abort the patch, your Launcher is broken, uninstall the game. The uninstaller allows you to preserve your saves; do so if you want to keep them.

Reinstall the game, then start the Launcher.

You should get a dialog offering to patch the game to EE. Click through until you get to the dialog where you select the patch location.

Set the patch location to the folder above the Downloads folder; for example, if your downloads are in "E:\TW2EE\Downloads", select "E:\TW2EE". The downloader will append the "Downloads" folder to your selection.

Select the components (the main patch and any language packs) you want to install.

Now the downloader will ask you where the game is installed. It should get the right folder by default.

Then it asks you again which components to install. Select the components you want.

Click through, and the patch will install.

success, from here http://en.thewitcher.com/ee_manual/ i had to download EE update parts 0, 1 and 2 (the corrupted file) and english language pack part 1. i moved them into my download folder and then ran the patch and it installed without a hitch. the new intro is stunning btw. good luck patching fellow witchers, time for bed now.

Going to try this when I get back from work.

Sigh. Must be one of the worse downloaders ever. Random files are corrupted, there is no way of telling which ones is bad so I will have to redownload everything again. Going getright route this time.

Most of the file sizes are the same except maybe the first and last, my installer automatically redownloaded pack2.

It is so great to be back in this game, not many games come out these days where you can look back and say wow that was an exceptional game, but I really think the Witcher 2 is one of the best games to come out in years. I'm going the Alchemy skill tree this time. Love it!

Yip, should never have bought from gog.

Mines retail, it's the pre-EE-Downloader that stuffed the files.

Have you lot tried the new downloader must say its way better than when I got the game.
Problem is I have all of the Bins, but it's impossible to tell which is corrupted since I have nothing to compare against nor is there any patching log. Not a problem, to morrow it will be finished via GetRight and manual links.
