LOl at least I did not try and play last night, But I still have my US server Monk to level up if EU is down...

Same, if Diablo offline I play Borderlands co-op, Future Soldier, Syndicate, Darkness 2 or Dragons Dogma.

I must say I am quite impressed with the gold sellers. It only took them one day from Blizzards (clever?) decision to add general chat to start advertisting.
 
Honestly I think Blizz should just take the game offline for the next 48 hours and see if they can sort this out.
I am now seriously pissed about this and so are thousands of other gamers. Everytime they "fix" something it breaks something else..now apparently there is a achievement problem lol not to mention the constant security issues.

How can they want to implement a RMAH with such horse ass Security?
No one will ever spend real cash with serious security issues.

I change my PW at least once a day..I also play the game on 3G because my IP changes every time I turn it off and back on again. I also have spybot search and destroy running 24/7 and scans at regular times.

Honestly Bizzard fucked up in the most amazing way I have ever seen, not only did they force us to pay a premium for a what is technically a single player game but they can't seem to keep the servers up for more than a day.

Also please don't comment "They didn't force you to do something" because they did.

They charged a premium for the most anticipated game of the decade and it is completely fucked now when people are starting to ask for a refund, they get told its not part of their policy to give refunds??? xD

It wouldn't surprise me if some basement dwelling teenager gets a gun and goes apeshit on them.

Good news: apparently from this mornings patch it saves your channel choice. So you will only have to leave the channel once.

As for general chat being added: Must say I really couldn't care less. For all of the serious issues with D3, the lack of general chat is nowhere on the priority list.

That is the part that upset me the most, I change my password weekly, having just changed it a day or so before these login issues happened again. I also run Spybot 24/7 with scans every day.

I just want to know how they managed to f*k up the security on this so badly that within 2 weeks of getting the game I have already been hacked where as I played wow for 7 years and not 1 hack.

From all the posts and threads I have read, blizz seems willing to blame the customer for a lack of security - I would gladly take the game offline and play via LAN with mates rather than this online crap that is causing so many issues.

Ironically I wasn't against the whole online 24/7 thing. Until last night. Oh and all they offer is to roll back your char a max of 24 hours to give your gear back, but its taken me since last night and I havent even spoken to a blizz employee yet - I get an error that their ticket submitting is down due to a high amount of people trying to submit tickets. Oh and 40mins on skype to get to speak with a blizz rep - I gave up after 40mins and not spoken to someone.

This leads me to believe that there is serious issue with security.
They seem willing to do roll backs quickly, something that Blizzard only ever did in the worst cases, now it seems this is their answer to the security issue..Just roll back...Its fucking retarded. I have never been hacked in any online game I have ever played, I owned my own online game and none of our players were ever hacked. How can my security be better than Blizzard's? I am a noob compared to them...Apparently...

It's becoming blatantly obvious that Blizzard is no longer the company we know.
 
They only do 2 rollbacks per account, so be warned - after that they ban the account from what I have read. Hence me not taking the chance on a rollback - that might or might not give me my gear back.

It sucks that you were hacked. :( Out of interest's sake, do you have an authenticator linked to your account? Out of fear of being hacked I downloaded the authenticator app to my phone and I'm hoping that will stop hackers in their tracks.
 
Do you guys know if there is an authenticator app for BlackBerry?

I only see for Android, iOS and some South Korean thing...
